V5 is an example of how a flight booking form can look on a website. Its visible controls let a visitor enter a trip type, origin, destination, travel dates, and travel class. They do not, by themselves, search airline inventory, quote live fares, issue tickets, or confirm a reservation.

Colorlib describes its forms as HTML and CSS with a small amount of vanilla JavaScript. Its general guidance says they do not require jQuery or Bootstrap files. The collection’s forms can be used on a page by themselves or within Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects; this compatibility does not mean the template includes Bootstrap assets. How to put the form to work
- Add the template to your page. Use the downloaded HTML and stylesheet as the starting point, and include the small amount of vanilla JavaScript the form uses. Do not assume Bootstrap files are bundled; add framework assets only if your project needs them.
- Adapt the fields and styling. Edit the HTML fields and stylesheet to fit your site. When changing a field, keep its
nameandidconsistent with the corresponding label so the form remains correctly associated and its submitted data has the expected field name. - Choose how dates should behave. The guide says the collection’s main booking forms use native browser date fields. The date-picker appearance and interaction may therefore vary by browser and device rather than matching a custom, identical calendar everywhere.
- Connect submission to a handler. Route the form submission to a server endpoint, CMS handler, booking system, or form service. That system—not the template—must validate and process the request.
- Implement the booking workflow. The connected system must determine availability, handle any payment flow, and send confirmation. Test the complete path, including invalid or unavailable requests, before presenting the form as a way to make bookings.
What is required for actual reservations
A working-looking form is not evidence that a booking has been made. V5 provides the front-end fields; it does not include availability management, payment processing, or confirmation emails. Those capabilities need to come from a backend or separate booking or form service connected to the submitted data. Review the license included with the specific downloaded files before deployment, since the individual V5 download package has not been independently verified here.
