What Are the Hostinger WordPress Plugins?

Hostinger adds six plugins to WordPress for setup, hosting controls, ecommerce, email and AI. Here’s what each does, what’s optional and what to check before using them.
Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Hostinger’s WordPress hosting automatically adds six Hostinger plugins to a site, covering setup, hosting controls, ecommerce, email marketing and AI tools. A separate affiliate-marketing plugin is optional. You do not need every tool: keep the ones that support your site’s workflow, and check your plan before relying on plan-specific features.

Which Hostinger plugins are installed automatically?

Hostinger’s current plugin overview lists six plugins automatically added to WordPress on its hosting plans. Their purpose is to connect the site to Hostinger’s setup tools and services; they are not all general-purpose WordPress plugins.

Plugin What it does Installation status
Hostinger Tools Provides hosting-related controls and information in WordPress, including WordPress and PHP version details, maintenance mode, XML-RPC controls, HTTPS and WWW redirects, and LLM discovery features. Included in Hostinger’s automatic six-plugin list.
Hostinger Easy Onboarding Powers Hostinger Hub, the home screen for Hostinger tools inside WordPress admin. Hub presents setup tasks, suggested actions and status cards. Included in the automatic list; Hub is its interface, not another plugin.
Hostinger Ecommerce Connects WordPress to Hostinger Ecommerce for product listings, orders, inventory, payments and analytics. Hostinger says it can be used to sell without installing WooCommerce; checkout is hosted by Hostinger. Included in the automatic list; the ecommerce service is useful only if you plan to sell.
Hostinger Reach Connects signup forms with Hostinger’s email marketing service and syncs contacts. Supported workflows include signup forms and integrations such as WooCommerce abandoned-cart emails. Included in the automatic list; use it if you need its email-marketing features.
AI Content Creator Creates draft posts or pages from a topic. Hostinger describes controls for content type, tone and length, and options to review keywords and meta descriptions before saving or publishing. Named in the automatic list. Hostinger’s AI-plugin documentation also uses the name AI Assistant; see the naming and plan notes below.
AI Website Builder Generates a WordPress site structure, design and content from a brief. The documented setup flow includes choosing Gutenberg or Elementor and a language, plus a store location where relevant. Included in the automatic list.
Hostinger Affiliate Marketing Tools Adds affiliate products as a single product, product list or comparison table. Hostinger documents support for Gutenberg and Elementor, Amazon worldwide and Mercado Livre for users in Brazil and Mexico. Optional; install it separately from WordPress Overview’s recommended installations and connect an affiliate account.

This inventory and the feature descriptions are from Hostinger Support’s article on its WordPress plugins. Plugin names and availability can change.

What does each plugin mean for your site?

Hostinger Tools: hosting controls in WordPress

Hostinger Tools is the management-oriented plugin. Its documented controls include maintenance mode and a bypass URL, XML-RPC settings, and HTTPS/WWW redirects. It also surfaces version information and LLM discovery features such as LLMs.txt and Web2Agent. These are Hostinger-specific controls, not a replacement for WordPress’s core editor or a general-purpose security suite.

Easy Onboarding and Hostinger Hub: setup guidance

Hostinger describes Hub as the home screen for Hostinger tools inside WordPress admin, powered by Easy Onboarding. Its checklist can include connecting a domain, adding plugins, Google Site Kit, Reach, online-store setup and AI discovery. The exact suggested tasks depend on what is relevant to the site and the services available to the account.

Hostinger Ecommerce: selling without WooCommerce

This plugin connects the WordPress site to Hostinger Ecommerce, which handles product and order workflows. Hostinger says its checkout is hosted by Hostinger and that the service lets users sell without installing WooCommerce. That makes it distinct from a plugin that simply adds a shop interface within WordPress; check the service’s current fit for your store before building around it.

Hostinger Reach: forms and email marketing

Reach connects signup forms to Hostinger’s email marketing service and keeps contacts synchronized. It is relevant if you intend to collect subscribers or use supported automations, such as abandoned-cart email workflows with WooCommerce. It is not needed just to publish a basic WordPress site.

AI Content Creator and AI Assistant: overlapping names

Hostinger’s plugin overview calls the feature AI Content Creator, while a separate support article calls it AI Assistant and describes a WordPress AI plugin that can also support Hostinger Agent and MCP. The names overlap in Hostinger’s documentation; they should not automatically be treated as two separate plugins.

Hostinger says its AI Assistant is available with Web Business and Cloud hosting plans. Its documented content workflow lets you provide a topic, choose content type, tone and length, review suggested keywords and meta descriptions, then save a draft or publish. Confirm the plugin and feature availability in your current account, because plan entitlements and product names may change. See Hostinger’s AI Assistant instructions.

AI Website Builder: generating a starting site

The AI Website Builder is for generating a site structure, design and content from a brief, rather than drafting an individual article alone. Hostinger’s described flow asks you to choose an editor—Gutenberg or Elementor—and a language; a store location is also relevant in store setup. Treat generated material as a starting point to review and customize.

Which plugins do you actually need?

Start with the task you want the site to perform, not with the fact that a plugin is present. The automatic plugins cover Hostinger-specific setup and integrations; the optional services are useful only when you adopt their workflows.

  • Managing a new site: Use Easy Onboarding/Hub for setup prompts and Hostinger Tools for its documented hosting controls.
  • Selling products: Consider Hostinger Ecommerce if its hosted-checkout workflow suits you. Hostinger says it can sell without WooCommerce; the choice depends on the ecommerce service you intend to use.
  • Collecting subscribers: Use Reach if you want signup forms connected to Hostinger’s email marketing service or supported automations.
  • Creating content or a site draft with AI: Check the AI plugin’s availability on your plan, then choose the content-generation or site-generation workflow you need.
  • Displaying affiliate products: Install Affiliate Marketing Tools only if you have an affiliate account to connect and want its product, list or comparison-table formats. It does not enroll you in an affiliate program.

How to find optional plugins and hosting controls

Hostinger’s WordPress Overview is the place to look for recommended installations and site-management features. Its dashboard may also show plugin and theme updates, disable controls, LiteSpeed Cache, backups and staging, with some features depending on plan. Those dashboard tools are not necessarily separate Hostinger plugins.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Open the Hostinger dashboard and go to Websites, then select the relevant site’s Manage option.
  2. Open WordPress Overview for that site.
  3. Check the recommended installations area to find optional items such as Hostinger Ecommerce, Hostinger Affiliate Marketing Tools and Hostinger AI.
  4. Before installing or disabling anything, confirm what the site uses and whether the relevant feature is included in your plan.

Hostinger’s instructions for this dashboard are in its WordPress Overview guide. If you use an optional affiliate plugin, connect your affiliate account as part of setup.

Hostinger AI and MCP: what the integration requires

Hostinger documents a way to connect external AI clients—including Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cursor—to a WordPress site through MCP. Hostinger says the integration requires an active Hostinger AI plugin, Node.js, a WordPress application password and a WordPress admin account. This is a changing Hostinger integration, not a feature available to every WordPress site by default. Check Hostinger’s MCP connection instructions for current requirements and steps.

What not to confuse with a plugin

Hostinger’s dashboard can expose management options such as backups, staging, LiteSpeed Cache and update controls. These may be dashboard features or links to other tools rather than additional Hostinger-branded plugins in WordPress. Hostinger’s plugin inventory identifies the six automatically added plugins and the separately installed affiliate tool; its WordPress Overview guide covers dashboard management features.
