Where to find the sword in Haunted Hollow
Current walkthroughs report three possible sword spawns. Check the area that fits your landing route first; if the sword is not there, search the other two. The guides report that only one of these locations normally has the sword in a match.

- Mansion: Look at the top of the light beam inside the building.
- Lumbermill: Search the Furnace in the burning mill.
- Riverboat: Check the Slot Machine aboard the boat.

How to complete the Floating Ruins ritual
- Pick up the sword. Once you find it at one of the three locations, carry it toward the Floating Ruins near the drained Pond.
- Use the Jump Pad. The ruins are elevated; use the Jump Pad below them to reach the platform.
- Place the sword. Interact with the podium on the platform to start the ritual.
- Defeat the zombies. Kill zombies around the gateway until its charge completes. The walkthroughs report that completing the ritual unlocks the animated Crimson Crawler weapon camo.
What to know about Haunted Hollow
Haunted Hollow is the Halloween-themed Season 06 transformation of Haven’s Hollow, the small-town Resurgence map. Activision’s September 8, 2026 announcement describes cosmic horrors and a Ghost Train entering the map; the Season 06 patch notes also describe the River Boat, burning Lumbermill, Mansion gravity vortex, Ghost Train, and Trick or Treat pumpkins. A secondary walkthrough reports that the Floating Island event was temporarily disabled after launch and fixed in the September 24 patch notes. The official announcement and notes do not establish an end date for Haunted Hollow, so its future availability is not confirmed.
