The One New Zealand Warriors plan to open an Official Team Store at Auckland’s Sylvia Park Shopping Centre on November 5, 2026, under an announced initial six-month lease. The club says the new retail presence will replace its shop at Go Media Stadium. Its October 2 announcement does not identify the store as “Wah-House,” so that name should not be treated as confirmed official branding.
Where the new Warriors store will be
The store is planned for Sylvia Park Shopping Centre in Auckland. The Warriors’ October 2, 2026 announcement describes the mall as having more than 200 stores and an estimated 15 million visitors a year. Those figures are reported by the club; the announcement does not cite a separate source for the visitor estimate. Warriors announcement
The club has not specified the store’s unit number or floor, opening hours, or product range.
When it is expected to open, and what the lease means
The announced target opening date is November 5, 2026, with an initial lease term of six months. Both are plans stated by the club and could change. The announcement gives no renewal terms, so the initial term does not establish whether the store will remain open after six months.

Why the Warriors say they are moving into mall retail
CEO Cameron George said merchandise demand had grown over the past four seasons, pointing to sales through the team’s game-day store and pop-up stores at Magic Round in Brisbane and NRL matches in Christchurch and Wellington. He described the move as a way to reach fans beyond game days and expand the club’s brand.
Those are the club’s stated reasons, not independently audited sales results. The announcement gives no merchandise revenue, unit-sales figures, or measured growth rate. George’s phrase “exponential growth” is qualitative and should not be read as a published sales calculation.

What happens to the Go Media Stadium shop
The Warriors say the retail operation at the Go Media Stadium shop will close when the Sylvia Park store opens. The announcement does not say what will happen to the stadium space afterward.
Is the Sylvia Park store officially called “Wah-House”?
The October 2 announcement calls it the “Official Team Store”; it does not confirm “Wah-House” as the store’s formal name. The club has used “Wahsworld” for a separate fan activation: a July 2026 announcement described a three-year Dreamworld partnership with a recurring activation when the Warriors travel to play the Gold Coast Titans. That is distinct from the Sylvia Park store and does not confirm its branding. Warriors Dreamworld partnership announcement

How the move changes the retail setting
The existing stadium shop is tied to the club’s game-day setting; Sylvia Park gives the team a mall location intended to reach shoppers outside match days. The Warriors’ announcement presents the move as a way to broaden access to merchandise, but it does not provide evidence about future sales or whether the new store will be commercially successful.
