Vodafone Germany says it completed more than 2,400 mobile-network construction measures between 21 June and 23 September 2026. The company reports that more than 300 new mobile stations entered service and LTE/5G antennas were installed at 2,100 additional locations. A separate Telecompaper report gives further 5G figures, but the available sources do not identify the individual sites or show how the work changed service for customers.
What Vodafone says it built
Vodafone Germany’s company-site summary describes more than 2,400 mobile-network construction measures during the period from 21 June through 23 September 2026. It breaks out two kinds of work:

What the reported 5G figures add
Telecompaper’s report gives two more specific 5G counts: 5G technology was installed for the first time at 500 sites, and 560 existing 5G locations received upgrades. These details are reported by Telecompaper; they are not included in the accessible Vodafone summary.

The figures should not be added to the 2,400-plus total or to the 2,100 antenna locations as if every category were separate. The available reports do not explain whether the 500 first-time 5G installations and 560 upgrades overlap with those sites, or how Vodafone counted each construction measure.
Where the work happened—and what it means for your service
The available summaries do not provide a site-by-site list, a regional breakdown, or the number of people newly covered. They also report no measured before-and-after changes in speed, capacity, reliability, or indoor reception. So the national totals cannot establish whether Vodafone improved service at a particular address, or whether a specific customer will notice a difference.

To assess service where you live, check coverage for your address using Vodafone’s current coverage information and compare it with your own experience. Construction totals alone are not a substitute for local coverage or performance data.
