Display: choose between a larger panel and a sharper AMOLED
The F70e gives you the larger screen at 6.7 inches, but its stated resolution is 720 × 1600 and it uses a PLS LCD panel. The X300 FE is smaller at 6.31 inches, with a 2640 × 1216 AMOLED panel. Both are listed with a 120 Hz refresh rate. In practical terms, the Samsung’s advantage on paper is viewing area; the vivo’s is panel type and resolution. The listed 5000-nit local peak brightness for vivo is a manufacturer specification, not a directly comparable measurement against Samsung’s listing.
Processor and memory: different product tiers, no comparable benchmark here
vivo specifies a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, 8 or 12 GB of RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Samsung lists a Dimensity 6300 with 4 or 6 GB RAM configurations. This is a substantial difference in the stated hardware tier, but without comparable independent benchmarks or hands-on testing it does not support a precise speed claim for particular apps, games or workloads.
Cameras: more dedicated roles and stabilization on the vivo
The X300 FE lists three rear cameras: a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP OIS telephoto camera and an 8 MP fixed-focus ultra-wide. Its front camera is 50 MP with autofocus. Samsung lists a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth camera on the rear, with no rear-camera OIS in its specifications; the front camera is 8 MP without autofocus.

On the listed hardware, the vivo offers a dedicated telephoto and ultra-wide camera, plus stabilization on the main and telephoto cameras. That gives it more camera roles on paper, but megapixel counts and specifications alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. No comparative camera testing is available here.
Optional telephoto extender
vivo lists its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 at ₹15,999, sold separately and stated to be compatible only with the X300 FE. It is an optional additional cost, not part of the standard phone configuration. vivo India Newsroom.

Battery and charging: capacity is not a battery-life test
vivo lists a 6500 mAh typical battery, 90 W wired charging and 40 W wireless charging support. Samsung lists a 6000 mAh typical battery and stated 25 W charging. These are manufacturer specifications: they do not tell you how long either phone lasts in a given usage pattern or how quickly it charges from a particular starting level. No independent endurance or charge-time comparison is established.
Durability and software support
Water and dust resistance
vivo lists IP68 and IP69 ratings, with test qualifications and cautions that water resistance can lessen with wear; liquid damage is not covered under its stated warranty terms. Samsung lists IP54 and warns that resistance may diminish with wear. Neither rating means a phone is immune to liquid damage; follow each manufacturer’s usage guidance.

Samsung’s 9 February 2026 launch announcement states six years of OS and security updates for the F70e. vivo’s India materials list Android 16 and OriginOS 6 for the X300 FE but do not state an update-support duration. The available statements therefore do not establish a comparable support term for vivo.
Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider the Galaxy F70e if its lower launch-price positioning, larger screen or Samsung’s explicitly stated six-year OS and security update commitment matters most. Its display is LCD at 720 × 1600, and its listed camera setup is simpler.
- Consider the X300 FE if you prioritize a more compact body, higher-resolution AMOLED display, higher-tier processor specification, OIS-equipped main and telephoto cameras, or wireless and faster wired charging support. Its launch price is far higher, and the researched India materials do not state an update-support duration.
The listed size figures make the vivo shorter, narrower and lighter, while the Samsung has the larger display. Neither set of specifications substitutes for hands-on testing; weigh the features against the current price and exact configuration available to you.
