What the X Fold3 Pro offers
vivo’s global specification page lists a high-end foldable configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and an IPX8 rating. The phone weighs 236g according to vivo’s current specifications. IPX8 indicates water resistance under specified conditions; it is not a dust-resistance rating and does not establish drop resistance.

Large displays and a flexible form factor
The 8.03-inch inner display gives the phone room for reading, video, and side-by-side apps, while the 6.53-inch cover display is sized for ordinary use without opening the device. GSMArena’s 2024 review praised the displays, but the larger screen alone does not ensure that every app or multitasking workflow will feel seamless.

Camera versatility
The listed rear setup combines main, ultrawide, and telephoto cameras rather than relying on a single high-resolution sensor. GSMArena described the cameras as capable in its 2024 review. The available evidence does not establish that the X Fold3 Pro outperforms a particular rival in every shooting condition, so treat the megapixel figures as hardware context rather than a guarantee of image quality.
Battery and charging
The 5700mAh typical equivalent capacity and specified 100W wired and 50W wireless charging are standout numbers for a foldable. They make the phone attractive if charging speed and capacity matter to you, but real-world endurance depends on use and conditions and is not established by those specifications. GSMArena reported that its Indian review unit included a 120W adapter; package contents can differ by market, so check the exact local box before buying.

Software is the key trade-off
Software varies by regional model. vivo’s global specifications list Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14, while GSMArena reported that the China version uses Origin OS. Confirm which version a seller is offering: imported hardware may not have the interface, services, or support experience you expect from a locally sold model.

GSMArena found the X Fold3 Pro’s multi-window implementation less polished than Samsung’s One UI and said it took more adjustment. That matters especially on a device whose large inner screen invites multitasking. In the same review, GSMArena Team wrote that the phone “performed admirably in benchmarks, roughly on par with the X100 Ultra”; this is the review’s assessment, not a universal result across every test or workload.

GSMArena reported in 2024 that vivo had promised three Android OS upgrades and four years of security patches. That is a historical report of a commitment, not confirmation of how many updates have since been delivered. Check the current support policy for the specific regional model before treating that promise as a buying advantage.

There is no single winner established by the available evidence: compare the actual prices and availability in your country, how each feels in hand, camera reviews that test the kinds of photos you take, battery and charging needs, and the software you prefer.

The vivo X Fold3 Pro is worth considering if you want a large-screen foldable with strong on-paper camera, display, and charging hardware, and you can buy it with dependable local support.
