Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →The vivo V70 is the larger, faster-refreshing phone on paper. vivo’s global V70 specification page lists a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with up to 120Hz refresh, a 6500mAh typical battery, up to 90W charging, and three rear camera modules, including a 50MP telephoto. The Apple iPhone 17e is the smaller, lighter phone: a 6.1-inch OLED screen, Apple’s A19 chip, a 48MP Fusion camera system, MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging, and iOS. These are published specifications, so they show what each phone is built to offer, not which one performs better in battery life or photos.
A fair price difference cannot be calculated from the prices available in 2026. The V70 figure comes from vivo’s India online shop and the iPhone 17e figure from Apple’s US Store. Those listings differ in country, tax treatment, storage configuration and offers, so they are not a like-for-like comparison. Start by choosing the country you will buy in, then compare local prices for matching storage.

Side-by-side specifications
The table below lists each phone’s figures as the manufacturer publishes them. Where a value is not given in the cited sources, the cell says so rather than filling the gap with an estimate.
| Buying factor | vivo V70 | Apple iPhone 17e | How to read it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.59-inch AMOLED, 2750 × 1260, up to 120Hz | 6.1-inch OLED, 2532 × 1170, 460 ppi; HDR, True Tone, P3; 800 nits typical and 1200 nits HDR peak | Both are manufacturer figures. Brightness is measured under each maker’s own conditions. |
| Chip and software | Snapdragon 7 Gen 4; Android 16 with OriginOS 6 (vivo global page) | Apple A19; iOS | Different platforms. Neither source provides a benchmark result. |
| Rear cameras | 50MP OIS main, 50MP OIS telephoto, 8MP ultra-wide | 48MP Fusion main; 2x telephoto framing (12MP output) from the same system; a separate ultra-wide lens not stated | The V70 lists a dedicated telephoto lens. The iPhone 17e’s 2x view is a framing mode. |
| Battery and charging | 6500mAh typical; up to 90W FlashCharge | Up to 26 hours video playback (Apple’s figure); battery capacity not stated; USB-C fast charge to 50% in about 30 minutes with a 20W or higher adapter sold separately; MagSafe and Qi2 up to 15W | Capacity and playback hours are different measures and cannot be compared directly. |
| Height and weight | 157.52 mm tall; 187g (black), 194g (other listed global colors) | 146.7 mm tall; 169g (Apple US specification page) | The iPhone 17e is shorter and lighter by the cited figures. Weight varies by finish. |
| Water and dust rating | IP68 and IP69 | IP68; up to 6 m for 30 minutes under IEC 60529 | These are test conditions, not guarantees for everyday use. |
| SIM and connectivity | Two nano-SIM slots on the vivo global listing; band support varies by market | US model A3575: dual eSIM and no physical SIM card | Check your local model number and carrier bands before buying. |
| Price example | India: ₹64,999 for 12GB+256GB (MRP shown as ₹75,999) | US: $699 for 256GB; $899 for 512GB | Different countries and configurations. Not a price comparison. |
Display: a larger, faster screen versus a compact OLED
The V70 has the larger screen and the higher listed refresh rate. “Up to 120Hz” is a ceiling, not a constant rate: the phone adjusts refresh depending on what is on screen, so smoothness during scrolling and games will vary by app. The iPhone 17e’s screen is smaller, but it has a lower stated resolution and the same general OLED technology, and it is comfortable in one hand. Apple’s brightness figures (800 nits typical, 1200 nits HDR peak) and vivo’s figures use different test methods, so a brightness winner cannot be declared from the spec sheets.

- Unlocked for freedom to choose your carrier. Compatible with both GSM & CDMA networks. The phone is unlocked to work with all GSM Carriers & CDMA Carriers Including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Straight Talk., Etc.
Cameras: a dedicated telephoto lens versus a 2x framing mode
The V70 includes a separate 50MP telephoto lens with optical stabilisation. vivo’s product page describes the phone as “co-engineered by vivo and ZEISS,” and says the 50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera delivers “sharp, vibrant distant portraits.” That is vivo’s marketing language, not an independent camera test. The iPhone 17e uses a 48MP Fusion main camera, and its 2x telephoto view is framed from that system rather than from a dedicated lens.
Megapixel counts do not establish image quality. Sensor size, lens quality, processing and stabilisation all matter. If you regularly shoot at longer focal lengths, the presence of a dedicated telephoto lens is the clearest specification difference. Whether the results are better in practice needs side-by-side shooting, which these sources do not provide.
Battery and charging: different measures
The V70’s 6500mAh figure is a battery capacity, given as a typical value. Apple’s iPhone 17e figure is a runtime claim: Apple states “Up to 26 hours” of video playback, and does not list battery capacity in the cited specification. Capacity and runtime depend on screen size, software, network conditions and usage, so the two numbers cannot be turned into a battery-life ranking.

Charging is also different. The V70 is listed at up to 90W FlashCharge on vivo’s global page. The iPhone 17e reaches 50% in about 30 minutes over USB-C with a 20W or higher adapter, which Apple sells separately. Its MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging is listed at up to 15W. Check whether the V70 box in your market includes a charger. The India listing described a package with a charger, but contents vary by market.
Size, durability and connectivity
Size and weight
The iPhone 17e is the easier phone to hold and pocket. The V70 is taller and heavier, and its weight depends on the colour. If you prefer a compact phone, this difference matters more than any spec on the sheet.
Water and dust resistance
The V70 lists IP68 and IP69. The iPhone 17e lists IP68 and specifies up to 6 m for 30 minutes under IEC 60529. These ratings describe tested conditions. They are not a promise of protection against everyday accidents, and manufacturer warranties may exclude liquid damage. Do not treat them as permission for intentional water exposure.

SIM and connectivity
The US iPhone 17e model A3575 uses dual eSIM and has no physical SIM card. The vivo global listing includes two nano-SIM slots, but band support is market-specific. Before buying an imported or travel device, confirm the model number, whether your carrier needs a physical SIM, and which bands the phone supports in your country.
Software and ecosystem
The V70 runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on the cited vivo page. The iPhone 17e runs iOS. For most buyers, this choice matters more than the hardware: it affects app purchases, cloud services, accessories, and whether you already use Apple devices. Update commitments and local support were not established in the sources used here, so check each manufacturer’s current policy for your country before buying.
Price difference: why the examples cannot be compared
The two prices found are listings from different stores, countries and configurations. The table below shows them as recorded, with no conversion.
| Market and seller | Model and configuration | Listed price | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| India, vivo online shop | vivo V70, 12GB+256GB, Lemon Yellow | ₹64,999 (MRP shown as ₹75,999) | Selling price and discount change over time. The listing describes a package with charger, case, protective film and cable. |
| United States, Apple Store | iPhone 17e, 256GB | $699 | US store price, not a global list price. Promotions, carrier offers and tax may change the final cost. |
| United States, Apple Store | iPhone 17e, 512GB | $899 | Same conditions as the 256GB listing. |
Do not convert these figures into one currency and rank them. Different taxes, warranty terms and included accessories change what you actually pay.
Quick Recap
How to build a fair price comparison
- Choose the country where you will buy and use that country’s official vivo online shop and Apple Store.
- Match storage. Compare the 256GB iPhone 17e with a 256GB V70 in the same market, and state the V70’s RAM (12GB in the India listing). RAM for the iPhone 17e is not stated in the sources used here.
- Confirm whether each price includes tax, and whether a carrier deal, trade-in or bundled accessory is included.
- Check the exact model: the iPhone model A3575 is the US variant, and the V70’s band support and included accessories vary by market.
- Record the date of each listing, because prices and discounts change.
Which phone fits which buyer
- Choose the vivo V70 if you want a larger screen, a dedicated telephoto lens, or the faster listed charging, and you prefer Android and the matching local price is lower.
- Choose the iPhone 17e if you want a smaller, lighter phone, you already use Apple devices or services, and an eSIM-only setup works with your carrier.
- Do not choose on specs alone if battery life or camera quality matters most. Compare the two phones in person or read independent tests before deciding.
What these figures do and do not show
- The spec figures come from vivo’s V70 global specification page and Apple’s iPhone 17e technical specifications, both checked in 2026.
- The price figures come from vivo’s India online shop and Apple’s US Store, checked in 2026. They are not stable and should be rechecked before purchase.
- No independent benchmark, battery test or camera comparison was used. Performance claims here are attributed to the manufacturers.
- Regional bundles, SIM support, warranty terms and software update policies vary by market and must be confirmed for the country where you buy.
