In India, the official vivo store listings for the 8GB+256GB configuration show the V30 at ₹40,999 and the V70 at ₹59,999, a displayed gap of ₹19,000 at the time of writing.

Processor and software
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in the V70 is the newer generation on the spec sheet. The listing is not a performance measurement. For gaming, multitasking or sustained load, you would need a dedicated benchmark or review to say how the two phones compare.
Android 16 on the V70 is the newer listed version, while the V30 lists Android 14. The version on a given unit can depend on the market and on update releases after launch.

Display
The V30 has the bigger screen, at 6.78 inches against 6.59 inches. Both use AMOLED panels at a 2800 × 1260 or 2750 × 1260 resolution, and both support 120 Hz refresh. If a larger display is your priority, the V30 is the stronger option on paper. The difference of 0.19 inches is small but noticeable when holding the phone.
Battery and charging
The V70 lists a 6500 mAh battery and 90W charging. The V30 lists 5000 mAh and 80W. These are manufacturer ratings, not independent test results. Actual battery life depends on usage, network conditions and software settings, and charging time depends on the charger and cable you use. Neither listing states a runtime or charging duration, so none is claimed here.

The V30 is listed at IP54. The V70 is listed at IP68 and IP69. These ratings describe resistance to dust and water under the conditions defined by the standard and by vivo’s own terms. They do not mean the phone is protected from every kind of damage, and they do not promise that water exposure is safe over time. Read the rating as a manufacturer specification, not a guarantee.
Which one fits your priorities
- Pick the V70 if you want the newer listed processor and Android version, a larger battery, faster charging, and the higher ingress rating, and you can pay ₹19,000 more.
- Pick the V30 if a larger screen matters more to you and the lower price is important. The V30 is ₹19,000 less at the displayed India prices.
- Check the store first if you are considering either phone in a different configuration, such as the V70’s 12GB+256GB variant, because the price gap will differ.
Box contents and protection
The vivo India V70 store listing states that the box includes a phone case and an applied protective film. The sources reviewed do not list the V30’s box contents, so do not assume the same accessories come with it. If you are buying the V30 and want a case or screen protector, check the store listing or the seller’s description for the included items.
