The Redmi 15 5G has the larger display and higher stated battery capacity; the vivo T4x 5G lists faster maximum wired charging. Both use LCD screens, have IP64 ratings and run Android 15-based software. A current price difference cannot be established from the available official listings, so compare the same memory variant and offer terms before choosing.

Which is better for performance?

The T4x uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 5G, while the Redmi 15 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3. Their names and core specifications alone do not establish which phone will be faster in everyday use or sustained workloads. The cited official product information does not provide matched independent performance tests, so there is no substantiated performance winner here.

Display: larger screen or higher refresh-rate ceiling?

The Redmi 15 has the larger panel at 6.9 inches, compared with 6.72 inches on the T4x. Both are LCDs with Full HD-class resolution. Xiaomi lists a maximum of 144Hz AdaptiveSync but limits that rate to some app usage; vivo lists up to 120Hz. Those maximum refresh-rate figures do not establish how often each phone uses its top rate in a particular app or how smooth either feels in practice.

Battery and charging: capacity is not endurance

Xiaomi lists a 7000mAh typical battery for the Redmi 15, while vivo lists 6500mAh typical capacity for the T4x (6360mAh rated). On the specification sheet, the Redmi has the larger battery. Capacity figures do not predict screen-on time by themselves; comparable independent battery tests would be needed to say which lasts longer.

For wired charging, vivo lists up to 44W and Xiaomi lists 33W. Redmi also supports 18W reverse charging. These are rated charging specifications, not measured full-charge times. The actual charging experience cannot be ranked from wattage alone.

Cameras, build protection and software

Both phones list an 8MP front camera and a 50MP main-camera system, but the specifications do not establish which takes better photos. Xiaomi lists an f/1.75 aperture for the Redmi’s rear camera and f/2.2 for its front camera; vivo specifies autofocus for the T4x main camera and a separate 2MP bokeh camera. Sample images and matched camera testing would be more useful than megapixel counts for judging image quality.

Both models carry an IP64 rating. Their software differs: the T4x uses Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, while the Redmi 15 uses HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Xiaomi states two years of OS updates and four years of security updates for the Redmi 15. No equivalent update-duration commitment for the T4x is established by the cited specifications.

The listed weights also differ: the T4x is 204g or 208g depending on color, and the Redmi 15 is 217g. That gives the T4x the lower listed weight, though handling depends on more than weight alone.

vivo T4x vs Redmi 15 price difference in India

A current price gap is not established. The official vivo store listing showed ₹19,499 for the T4x 5G 8GB+128GB variant. The available Xiaomi India product page did not expose a current Redmi 15 5G retail price. That missing listing information does not prove that the Redmi 15 is unavailable.

To compare what you would actually pay, check the same seller or comparable sellers for matching memory and storage configurations, and keep the date and offer conditions consistent. Record list price separately from effective price after bank discounts or exchange offers; do not compare different storage tiers or treat a conditional discount as the standard price.

Which phone should you choose?

  • Consider the Redmi 15 5G if you want the larger screen, higher listed refresh-rate ceiling, larger stated battery capacity, or Xiaomi’s stated update schedule.
  • Consider the vivo T4x 5G if its listed 44W maximum wired charging, lighter listed weight, or available memory configuration better suits your priorities.
  • Wait for more evidence before choosing on speed, battery life, charging time or camera quality. The manufacturer specifications cited here do not settle those real-world comparisons.
  • Choose by price only after checking current, like-for-like offers. A comparable Redmi 15 price is not established alongside the vivo listing above.
