The overview does not establish that all of these features are bundled in every plan. Ask the sales representative to map each required task to a named feature and state whether it is included, optional or dependent on additional hardware.

Does Verizon Connect require hardware?
Yes. Verizon Connect’s GPS hardware information describes tracking through hardware, with several deployment paths:
- Factory-fitted OEM integrations: for supported vehicles, subject to compatibility.
- Plug-in devices: an option for vehicles that support the relevant connection.
- Hard-wired aftermarket units: installed into the vehicle.
- Asset or trailer devices: separate powered or battery-powered hardware for equipment and trailers.
The vendor says the choice depends on the data a fleet needs. Installation may be self-service or professional; professional installation has an extra cost, but the reviewed page does not state an amount. Before signing, confirm vehicle compatibility, installation responsibility, device costs, data available from each device and whether the equipment can be moved if vehicles change.

Do Verizon Connect dashcams work without Reveal?
No. Verizon Connect’s AI dashcam FAQ says the cameras require Verizon Connect Reveal or Fleet and are not standalone. They should therefore be evaluated as part of a configured fleet platform, not as a consumer dashcam purchase. Ask which platform is required for your intended camera setup and whether its subscription and hardware are separately priced.

These are vendor-reported figures; the relevant page passage does not provide study design or sample details. They are not independent verification or a guarantee of results for another fleet.
