To take one published blog post offline in manual mode, turn it into a draft, then update the website. You can do this from the Blog management panel or from the post editor; either route leaves the post saved as a draft rather than deleting it. The instructions say the post will no longer be available online until you publish it again.
Unpublish the post from the Blog management panel
- In the editor, expand Blog management in the left panel and find the published post.
- Click the three-dot menu beside the post title, then select Unpublish.
- Update the website so the status change is reflected online.
This is the quickest route if you are already looking at the post list. The result is changing the published post into a draft.

Unpublish it from the post editor
- Open the post you want to take offline.
- In the top toolbar, click Status: Public and change the post to draft.
- Update the website to apply the change online.
Choose this route when the post is already open for editing. The status control and the panel’s Unpublish action lead to the same outcome: the post becomes a draft until you publish it again. The control names and placement can change, so follow the labels shown in your editor.

Unpublish, delete, and hide are different actions
- Unpublish one post: turns it into a draft, preserving it for later editing or republication.
- Delete one post: a separate option in the post’s three-dot menu. The site must be updated for the removal to appear online.
- Hide a section or element: a display control, not the documented way to take an individual post offline. The Blog and Blog post header sections cannot be hidden using this feature.
- Unpublish the website: a site-level operation with different options; it is unnecessary when you only want to take one post offline.
