For a home hub focused on storage, smart-home control, and UGREEN’s advertised local AI features, the HA100 is the lower-cost starting point. The HA100 Pro is aimed at heavier local-AI workloads, but its much higher advertised compute figure is not proof that a particular model or project will run well. Neither model is yet established as a general-purpose developer workstation.
As of October 7, 2026, HomeAgent is being offered through a crowdfunding campaign rather than a standard retail purchase. UGREEN says the Kickstarter campaign begins November 17, 2026; estimated shipping starts in late February 2027 for HA100 and late April 2027 for HA100 Pro. These are estimates, and campaign terms may change.

Which UGREEN HomeAgent model fits your home?
The choice is less about buying the largest number and more about what you intend to run, how much storage you need, and whether the planned devices and features are compatible. UGREEN’s advertised specifications and current campaign price display are:

| Model | Advertised compute and memory | Storage and expansion | Campaign price display | Best-supported fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HomeAgent HA100 | 26 TOPS; 16GB memory. UGREEN’s model card says LPDDR5, while its detailed copy says DDR5. | Up to 96TB; one M.2 NVMe slot dedicated to AI models. | $799 Super Early Bird; $1,599 displayed MSRP. | Home storage, home controls, and the vendor’s described AI features without a defined need for greater local-AI capacity. |
| HomeAgent HA100 Pro | 205 TOPS; 32GB LPDDR5. | Up to 96TB; higher-speed SSD expansion options. | $2,699 Super Early Bird; $5,399 displayed MSRP. | A concrete, heavier local-AI workload that may benefit from more advertised compute and memory. |
| MasterAgent MA100 | 2,070 TFLOPS (Sparse FP4); 128GB memory. | Up to 128TB. | $9,999 Super Early Bird; $19,999 displayed MSRP. | A separate, much higher-end system for demanding workloads—not simply the next HomeAgent tier. |
Prices and configurations are UGREEN’s campaign-page displays checked October 7, 2026; they are time-sensitive. MasterAgent’s TFLOPS figure uses a different unit and stated measurement basis from HomeAgent’s TOPS figures, so the headline numbers are not directly comparable. UGREEN’s HA100 memory wording is inconsistent; confirm the final specification before buying. The “up to” storage figure is not a complete drive configuration or total-cost estimate: confirm whether drives are included and what capacity is usable.

Choose HA100 for the household hub use case
If your priority is storage plus UGREEN’s described photo, camera, and smart-home functions, and you do not have a specific workload that calls for more local-AI capacity, HA100 is the more cautious choice. Its listed AI-model expansion slot is a feature claim, not evidence that a particular model or software stack is supported.
Choose HA100 Pro only for a defined workload
The Pro’s advertised 205 TOPS and 32GB memory are substantially higher than HA100’s listed figures, but UGREEN has not provided independent HomeAgent benchmarks in the reviewed material. TOPS is not a direct measure of tokens per second, response quality, or whether a given project will fit and perform acceptably. Seek shipping-product benchmarks and documentation for your exact model and runtime before paying the premium.
Treat MasterAgent as a different category
MasterAgent is an adjacent, substantially higher-end system with different compute units, more advertised memory, and a higher storage ceiling. Its figures do not make it a directly comparable upgrade choice for a household deciding between HA100 and HA100 Pro.

UGREEN presents HomeAgent as a home hub combining NAS-style storage, Uliya natural-language interaction, smart-home control, and camera and photo features. UGREEN says Uliya can answer questions about camera events and family photos and control connected devices. Its campaign page also advertises automations, camera-event summaries and keyword search, and local organization of photos and files. These are vendor descriptions, not independent compatibility or performance tests. UGREEN’s HomeAgent campaign page is the primary source for the current feature claims.
Launch coverage from T3 described the product as combining local AI, storage, security, and smart-home controls, and reported support for third-party Matter devices. Check current device-level compatibility rather than assuming every Matter product or feature works in the same way.
Optional devices are not automatically included
UGREEN names SynCare cameras, Gallery smart frames, and a Smart Speaker for Uliya as optional campaign add-ons. The company says some features require a HomeAgent model. Add-on availability and estimated shipping differ from the hub, so check the reward details rather than treating these products as part of the base package.

- Entry-level NAS Personal Storage:UGREEN NAS DH2300 is your first and best NAS made easy. It is designed for beginners who want a simple, private way to store videos, photos and personal files, which is intuitive for users moving from cloud storage or external drives and move away from scattered date across devices. This entry-level NAS 2-bay perfect for personal entertainment, photo storage, and easy data backup (doesn't support Docker or virtual machines).
- Set Your Devices Free, Expand Your Digital World: This unified storage hub supports massive capacity up to 64TB.*Storage drives not included. Stop Deleting, Start Storing. You can store 22 million 3MB images, or 2 million 30MB songs, or 43K 1.5GB movies or 67 million 1MB documents! UGREEN NAS is a better way to free up storage across all your devices such as phones, computers, tablets and also does automatic backups across devices regardless of the operating system—Window, iOS, Android or macOS.
- The Smarter Long-term Way to Store: Unlike cloud storage with recurring monthly fees, a UGREEN NAS enclosure requires only a one-time purchase for long-term use. For example, you only need to pay $459.98 for a NAS, while for cloud storage, you need to pay $719.88 per year, $2,159.64 for 3 years, $3,599.40 for 5 years. You will save $6,738.82 over 10 years with UGREEN NAS! *NAS cost based on DH2300 + 12TB HDD; cloud cost based on 12TB plan (e.g. $59.99/month).
- Blazing Speed, Minimal Power: Equipped with a high-performance processor, 1GbE port, and 4GB RAM on Board, this NAS handles multiple tasks with ease. File transfers reach up to 125MB/s—a 1GB file takes only 8 seconds. Don't let slow clouds hold you back; they often need over 100 seconds for the same task. The difference is clear.
- Let AI Better Organize Your Memories: UGREEN NAS uses AI to tag faces, locations, texts, and objects—so you can effortlessly find any photo by searching for who or what's in it in seconds. It also automatically finds and deletes similar or duplicate photo, backs up live photos and allows you to share them with your friends or family with just one tap. Everything stays effortlessly organized, powered by intelligent tagging and recognition.
Can HomeAgent run your AI project locally?
The best-supported project fit is home-centered: local file or photo search, camera-event summarization, natural-language home control, and automation, as described by UGREEN. The available material does not fully specify model installation, public APIs, developer workflows, operating-system replacement, or the limits of third-party integrations. It therefore does not establish that a particular agent stack, container workload, Home Assistant workflow, or general-purpose development environment is supported.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Before choosing a model, write down the workload you actually need to run:
- The model, runtime, and any required software or APIs.
- How many tasks must run concurrently and what performance is acceptable.
- Whether cloud APIs are acceptable, or whether processing must stay local.
- The cameras, smart-home devices, and integrations the project depends on.
- Expected storage needs, including whether you will supply drives.
- Your tolerance for a crowdfunding purchase and estimated delivery window.
Then verify those requirements against current UGREEN documentation. A higher advertised TOPS figure alone cannot answer whether the intended software is supported or whether its performance is adequate.
Which features still need an internet connection?
UGREEN says supported local features store and process files, photos, videos, surveillance footage, and locally generated AI results on HomeAgent rather than UGREEN cloud servers. The company says some core features continue over the local network after activation and Uliya model downloads. That is a qualified local-processing claim, not a promise that every feature works without internet access.
| Function | UGREEN’s stated connection requirement |
|---|---|
| Some core features on the local network | UGREEN says they continue after initial activation and Uliya model downloads. |
| Initial activation and model downloads | Internet access required. |
| Remote access, push notifications, intercom, NAS Calling, and OTA updates | Internet access required. |
| Viewing local security events without internet | UGREEN says events can be viewed in Surveillance Center, but system-level push alerts cannot be sent to a phone. |
UGREEN also says HomeAgent is TRUSTe certified in the US and that additional certifications and standards are in progress. This is a company-reported security statement, not an independent assessment of every setup or feature.
What should you know before pledging?
UGREEN’s campaign page says a deposit is not a final purchase: deposit holders receive access to a reward link and complete the pledge on Kickstarter. Android Central reported on October 1, 2026, that UGREEN changed the campaign start from October 27 to November 17 and lowered the displayed MSRP and Super Early Bird prices. The figures in the table reflect UGREEN’s campaign page as checked October 7, 2026; rewards, eligibility, and prices can change. Read the Android Central report alongside the live campaign terms if comparing the change over time.
