TrendAI says its Vision One integration with Anthropic’s Claude Compliance API now covers Claude Code and Cowork session transcripts from Claude Enterprise. The expansion, announced September 29, 2026, gives security teams another source of session-level context to investigate prompts, responses and tool calls alongside endpoint, identity, cloud and network signals. Availability of the integration is distinct from the API’s coverage status: TrendAI says it is available to its Vision One customers using Claude Enterprise.
What the expanded integration adds
TrendAI announced the expansion as an extension of its June 12, 2026 integration with the Claude Compliance API. The new coverage brings Claude Code and Cowork sessions into the integration, extending the stated review scope to coding and knowledge-work agent activity. TrendAI describes workflows such as identifying tool calls outside expected boundaries, associating activity with verified users, checking work against required processes, correlating sessions with other security events and retaining records for compliance review. These are vendor-described capabilities, not independently validated performance results.
TrendAI’s Head of TrendAI, Rachel Jin, said security teams need transparency to validate agent activity against company policy and connect it with existing endpoint, identity, network and cloud signals. The integration’s stated purpose is therefore broader than simply collecting a record of AI usage: it is to make session activity available in the context of other security information.
What appears in a Claude Compliance API record
Anthropic describes Compliance API records as consolidated, server-hosted transcripts retrieved from its service. Depending on the session, transcript content can include prompts and responses, web and MCP tool-call content, and skills and artifacts represented as text. Associated metadata can include verified user ID and email, organization ID, session and per-message IDs, and timestamps. Anthropic’s coverage announcement explains the surfaces and record fields.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
This is session content and context, not merely an aggregate counter such as total usage. Administrators evaluating the integration should consider whether their policies permit this content to be collected and reviewed, who can access it, and how it should be handled under their organization’s retention and compliance rules.
Availability and prerequisites
There are two separate availability statements. Anthropic first described the additional surfaces as beta coverage for Claude Enterprise on August 11, 2026, then said on August 26 that Cowork (desktop, web and mobile) and Claude Code (CLI and desktop) coverage was generally available. TrendAI’s September 29 announcement separately says its integration is available to TrendAI Vision One customers using Claude Enterprise. The API’s general availability does not itself mean every customer has the TrendAI integration configured.

TrendAI’s collector prerequisites state that Compliance API access is available only on Claude Enterprise and identify a TrendAI Vision One API key for forwarding chat content to AI Guard. The announcement does not provide full configuration steps or account-permission details; consult TrendAI’s current product documentation for setup and confirm the required access in both services.
Coverage boundaries to check
Anthropic’s August coverage announcement said the beta did not include Claude Code on the web, Claude Code accessed through Claude Platform, or sessions running on Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI or Microsoft Foundry. These exclusions were stated with the beta announcement; because coverage can change, check Anthropic’s current Compliance API documentation for the endpoint and surface relevant to a planned deployment rather than treating an older exclusion list as permanent.

In particular, do not infer that every way of using Claude Code is covered just because CLI and desktop sessions are listed. The service, hosting environment and API surface matter.
Session transcripts are not live event telemetry
The Compliance API should not be described as a live event stream. Anthropic distinguishes its retained, per-session transcripts—which are retrieved from Anthropic on request—from OpenTelemetry and Claude Code monitoring, which can send per-event telemetry to a collector the customer runs as activity happens. That telemetry can include token, cost and host metadata. The two approaches have different timing, infrastructure and data granularity, and can coexist; Anthropic recommends the Compliance API for retrieving Cowork and Claude Code session content. See Anthropic’s monitoring documentation for the distinction.

How it fits into the broader integration landscape
Anthropic’s Compliance API integrations guide names TrendAI, Harmonic Security and Okta as examples of providers using the API for security monitoring, governance or identity context. SailPoint has also announced a Claude Compliance API connector for enterprise identity security. Those references show the API is being used in more than one enterprise-security context; they do not establish that these integrations have equivalent features or are interchangeable with TrendAI Vision One.
