The TP-Link Deco BE63 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh system with four 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports per unit. Wccftech reported Amazon US prices starting at $199.98 for a one-pack on October 2, 2026, but that time-limited offer has not been independently verified as current. Check the live listing for price, seller, stock, and eligibility before buying.

What the Deco BE63 is—and what its speed figures mean

TP-Link also markets the Deco BE63 as the Deco 7 Pro BE10000. Each unit uses 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands. TP-Link specifies radio signal rates of 574Mbps, 4,324Mbps, and 5,188Mbps on those bands, respectively; these are theoretical band rates, not the internet speed a single device should expect to receive. Real results depend on the internet connection, client hardware, placement, interference, and other network conditions. See TP-Link’s BE63 product page and its 2026 datasheet.

The Wi-Fi 7 feature set includes Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 320MHz channels, and 4K-QAM. To benefit, client devices must support the relevant features. TP-Link says 320MHz bandwidth is available only on 6GHz, and regulatory rules mean channel availability varies by region. The datasheet also cautions that the product may not support every mandatory feature in the finalized 802.11be specification and that software upgrades may be needed for some features.

1-pack $199.98 20%
2-pack $326.80 7%

These are dated reported prices, not confirmation of a live Amazon listing or its seller, inventory, or discount eligibility. Check Wccftech’s deal report for the original offer details, then confirm the current Amazon page before checkout. A separate offer appeared on TP-Link’s Tapo store; it is not evidence for Amazon pricing.

Which pack size makes sense?

Choose based on your floor plan, wall materials, placement options, and whether you can use Ethernet backhaul—not simply the advertised area. TP-Link claims up to 5,800 square feet for the two-pack and support for up to 200 devices. These are manufacturer figures, not independent coverage or capacity test results, and actual performance varies with the building, obstacles, device location, traffic, ISP, and client limitations.

  • 1-pack: Consider it when replacing a single router or extending a smaller space, provided one unit can cover the area adequately. A single unit does not provide a second mesh node.
  • 2-pack: A reasonable starting point for a larger or multi-room home where a second placement point can improve reach. The 5,800-square-foot figure is TP-Link’s estimate, not a coverage guarantee.
  • 3-pack: Consider only if the layout has multiple areas that need additional nodes. More units do not guarantee faster service; poor placement or wireless backhaul conditions can still limit performance.

The cited material establishes that all three pack options were included in the reported offer, but it does not provide independently tested coverage comparisons by pack size. If Ethernet cabling is available, the BE63 supports Ethernet backhaul, which can connect mesh units over wired links.

Check your broadband, ports, and devices before upgrading

Each BE63 unit has four 2.5Gbps WAN/LAN auto-sensing Ethernet ports and a USB port. Any Ethernet port can be assigned WAN or LAN, but only one can act as WAN at a time. To use internet service above gigabit speeds, the ISP plan, modem or ONT, and connected equipment must also support the needed rate; the ports alone do not make an internet connection faster.

For wireless gains, check whether the devices you use support Wi-Fi 7 and the particular features you value. Older clients can connect, but they cannot use Wi-Fi 7-only capabilities such as MLO or 320MHz channels unless they support them. TP-Link says its Deco products can work together in one mesh network, but feature support can vary across models; consult the current regional support information for specific mixed-model or hardware-version questions.

Security, modes, and regional support

The BE63 supports router and access point modes. It lists HomeShield security and parental controls, while TP-Link says advanced HomeShield features require a paid subscription. Check the current terms for the exact feature set and subscription details rather than assuming every feature is included at no cost.

TP-Link’s US support page displayed hardware versions V1.60, V2.60, and V3.60. For V3.6, it listed firmware 1.0.7, build 26050612, published August 14, 2026, with stability and security improvements and a NAT Loopback fix. Firmware availability varies by hardware version and region, so check the label on your unit and the matching TP-Link support page rather than assuming every BE63 ships with the same version.

Who should consider the BE63?

The BE63 is most relevant if you want a mesh system with Wi-Fi 7, multi-gig Ethernet connections, and the option to link nodes by Ethernet. It is harder to justify solely for the headline radio rates or an advertised coverage figure: your broadband, clients, home layout, and node placement determine whether its capabilities translate into a noticeable improvement. At the reported one-pack price it may be worth checking, but the dated Amazon deal and actual seller price need live confirmation.
