We Work Remotely describes TopAccess as its premium membership tier. It bundles WWR Pro with opportunities to apply to Toptal Marketplace, Arc, and PeoplePerHour, plus unlimited Toptal Resume tailoring. WWR Pro features listed in the FAQ include job applications, job alerts, and subscriber events. The bundle is a collection of services, not a single freelance marketplace. What does it cost, and what does cancellation mean?
The FAQ lists a price of $29.95 per month, a 12-month commitment, and no free trial. At that stated monthly rate, twelve installments total $359.40 over a full term. Remote OK’s terms describe the subscription as non-refundable and annual, paid in monthly installments. They say cancellation does not remove payment obligations for the rest of the current annual term, subject to applicable law and the terms’ provisions. Billing and access continue through the term after cancellation, according to the FAQ. This is therefore not a cancellable month-to-month subscription.
Does membership guarantee access to freelance work?
No. TopAccess provides an opportunity to apply to partner platforms; each platform has its own vetting and eligibility requirements. The FAQ puts the distinction plainly: “Your subscription provides access to apply — it does not guarantee platform acceptance, jobs, or earnings.” Treat the platform access as an application opportunity, not a promise that you will be admitted or hired.

How do the rewards work?
The advertised “up to $500” reward is conditional, not an automatic rebate. Remote OK’s terms specify a $1,000 revenue milestone on Toptal or Arc for a $500 payment to eligible new talent. They also describe a $1,000 revenue milestone on Upwork or Fiverr for a $100 credit for eligible new jobs. The terms allow Remote OK to request evidence and reserve discretion over rewards; the FAQ likewise says eligibility and proof of earnings apply. The larger figure is a payment under stated conditions, while the other is a platform credit—not cash. Neither should be counted as a guaranteed offset to the subscription price.
Who might find TopAccess worthwhile?
Compare the full-year commitment with the services you would actually use. Someone who wants WWR job-board tools, resume tailoring, and the ability to apply across multiple partner platforms may see more potential value than someone seeking occasional freelance projects or access to just one platform. But the listed services’ stated value is not evidence that they will produce work or recoup the fee.
