Is the Tontine Allergy Plus machine washable?
Yes. Tontine describes both profiles as machine washable. Care details differ across product listings: CHOICE’s public entry for the reviewed pillow specifies a warm gentle machine wash and drying flat, while House’s medium listing also says warm machine wash. Check the sewn-in care label on the exact pillow you buy before washing, because listings may refer to different variants or presentations.

What independent testing is publicly available?
CHOICE has a public Tontine Allergy Plus review listing. It identifies the pillow as polyester and displays medium firmness, 19 cm height, 61 cm width, 37 cm length and 0.5 kg weight. Its comfort, fatigue and sleeping-position test results, along with its recommendation, are members-only. The public listing therefore does not support a score or a performance verdict.
Those measurements also do not match the dimensions published for the medium variant by retailer House. House lists its medium anti-stain pillow as 71 × 46 × 6 cm, with a 100% microfibre cover and 100% polyester fill. Because the listings may describe different presentations or tested variants, check the exact label and dimensions of the item you are considering rather than using either set of measurements as universal for the range. The Allergy Plus is worth considering if you want a washable polyester pillow and can choose a profile that suits your preferred height and firmness. Tontine’s medium and high-and-firm options make the range easier to match to a preference, but the available public evidence does not establish comparative comfort or a health benefit. Confirm the variant, care label and dimensions on the product before buying, especially if those details matter to your setup.
