Choose TMDHosting if its advertised transfer service, cPanel setup, or 24/7 support fit your needs; choose Bluehost if its WordPress plans’ stated site limits and introductory pricing suit your budget. But compare the full initial bill and renewal rate—not just the displayed monthly equivalent. The plans come from different hosting lineups, and the available information does not establish a reliable speed winner.
How the plans and prices compare
The figures below are published by the providers on their current pricing pages, accessed in 2026. They are not a like-for-like price test: TMDHosting shows several billing periods, while the cited Bluehost WordPress prices are tied to 36-month terms. Bluehost’s listed prices exclude VAT/GST. Confirm the exact product, checkout total, and renewal terms before buying.

Bluehost’s WordPress pricing page gives explicit renewal rates for the cited plans: Starter renews at $9.99/month, Business at $13.99/month, and eCommerce Essentials at $21.99/month. Its displayed first-term rates require a 36-month commitment, so the monthly figure is not the amount paid month to month. The page excludes VAT/GST.
TMDHosting’s current shared-hosting page displays rates by billing period, including monthly and triennial billing, but the supplied plan details do not state a comparable renewal rate. Do not treat the triennial monthly equivalent as a recurring monthly price or assume it will be the renewal price. Bluehost’s renewal FAQ, updated February 11, 2026, says account-specific current prices should be checked in the portal renewal center; pricing can change.
Before choosing, compare the total due for the initial term and the renewal rate for the exact product at checkout. The published lineups and billing terms differ, so the lowest displayed monthly number alone cannot settle which is cheaper for your situation. How much capacity do you need?
For one small site
TMDHosting Starter lists one website and 50 GB SSD, while Bluehost WordPress Starter lists 10 websites and 10 GB NVMe. If you have only one site, the headline site allowance may matter less than storage, backups, renewal cost, and the hosting tools you want. The storage types and provider lineups differ, so the figures are not a direct performance comparison.

For several sites or more storage
TMDHosting Business and Enterprise list unlimited websites; Bluehost Business lists 50 and eCommerce Essentials lists 100. TMDHosting Business includes 100 GB SSD, and Enterprise lists unlimited storage; Bluehost lists 50 GB for Business and 100 GB for eCommerce Essentials. “Unlimited” is the provider’s plan description, not a reason to assume every workload or resource use is unrestricted; check the plan terms for your intended use.
For backups
TMDHosting Starter lists no backups, while Business and Enterprise list 30 backup copies. Bluehost’s help page describes weekly backups across the plan tiers it covers. Check how restoration works and whether the specific product you are about to order includes the backup coverage you need; the providers’ descriptions do not establish identical retention or recovery terms. Can you move a site between the hosts?
Both providers advertise a no-cost migration option, but they describe different methods. TMDHosting lists a free website transfer. Bluehost advertises a free migration tool, described in its materials as a WordPress migration plugin or tool. These statements do not establish that every site, configuration, or migration is eligible for the same level of hands-on help.

- Ask TMDHosting what its transfer covers for your current site and whether there are limits on the number of sites or the type of hosting being moved.
- For Bluehost, confirm that the migration tool supports your existing WordPress setup and understand what you must do yourself.
- Before changing DNS, keep a separate backup and confirm that email, forms, databases, and other site functions work on the new host.

TMDHosting lists cPanel, LiteSpeed, free SSL, and 24/7/365 support for its shared hosting plans. It advertises ticketing, chat, and Slack, along with a 15-minute support response. That is a stated response commitment, not a promise that a problem will be resolved in 15 minutes.
Best Value
Bluehost’s cited WordPress page lists managed WordPress updates. Its shared-hosting overview says Starter includes 24/7 chat but no phone support; Business and eCommerce Essentials include chat and phone support. Bluehost’s pages cover more than one hosting family, so confirm the support channels and tools for the exact product at checkout.

What do the uptime figures mean?
TMDHosting lists a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Bluehost’s referenced WordPress pricing page lists a 99.99% uptime SLA. These are provider-published commitments, not measurements of observed uptime under a shared test. Their terms and remedies are not established as equivalent here, so read each provider’s applicable agreement rather than using the percentages as proof of real-world reliability.
No controlled, independent comparison establishes that either host is faster or has better observed uptime under the same site, location, configuration, and test period. Sources: TMDHosting shared hosting plans and Bluehost WordPress pricing.
Which host should you choose?
- Consider TMDHosting if cPanel, its listed transfer service, 24/7/365 support access, or the Business plan’s 30 backup copies match your priorities. Check the term total and renewal price before committing.
- Consider Bluehost if you want one of its cited WordPress plans, need the stated website allowance, and are comfortable with a 36-month initial term. Include the published renewal rate and applicable taxes in your budget.
- Pause before deciding if your choice depends on a speed claim or an assumed migration outcome. The available provider statements do not prove comparative speed or identical migration coverage.
Choose by the exact plan’s total cost, capacity, backup arrangement, migration fit, and support channels—not by the provider name or a single promotional rate.
