Play Titanium Court on Steam or Steam Deck if you want to start immediately. The PC release arrived on April 23, 2026, and its Steam listing documents keyboard, mouse, touch and full controller support, with Steam Deck Verified status. If you specifically want a living-room console or a phone, wait for the announced October 29, 2026 releases on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. Choose console for television play and conventional gamepad controls; choose mobile for portability and touch input. Prices, monetization, cross-save and technical parity for the new versions have not been published in the available announcements.
The short decision
The right version depends less on genre preference than on when and where you want to play. Steam is the only version with a released build and documented input options. Steam Deck gives you that same PC release in a handheld format. The console and mobile editions are scheduled for October 29, 2026, so they are sensible choices only if you are prepared to wait and accept that several launch details remain open.

What Titanium Court is
Titanium Court is a deliberately mixed-format game rather than a single-genre puzzler. Pocket Gamer describes a surreal combination of match-three play and grid-based strategy, with tower-defense or real-time-strategy-style decisions, resource gathering and narrative interludes. PC Gamer characterizes it as an even broader blend of match-three, autobattler, visual novel, roguelite, deckbuilder and tower-defense systems.
#1 Best Overall
- The next evolution of Nintendo Switch
- One system, three play modes: TV, Tabletop, and Handheld
- Larger, vivid, 7.9” LCD touch screen with support for HDR and up to 120 fps
- Dock that supports 4K when connected to a compatible TV*
- GameChat** lets you voice chat, share your game screen, and connect via video chat as you play
That description matters when choosing hardware. Match-three interaction is naturally readable on a phone, while grid decisions, unit or defense planning and deck-style choices can benefit from a larger screen and a pointing device. Those are practical interface considerations, not evidence that one edition has more content. The available announcements do not say that mechanics, story scenes or progression will differ by platform.
Release timing and what it means
Steam is the currently playable edition
The PC version launched on Steam on April 23, 2026. Anyone deciding today can buy and play that build rather than pre-ordering an unreleased port. Steam’s store metadata also gives the clearest information about supported input and handheld compatibility.
Console and mobile launch on October 29, 2026
Fellow Traveller and AP Thomson announced releases for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android on October 29, 2026. As of October 15, 2026, that date is announced rather than a report of a completed launch. Store pages, regional availability and final purchase terms may still appear or change before release.
If you need a game for a trip or a television session before October 29, Steam or Steam Deck is the only documented route. If you already own a target console or prefer phone controls, waiting avoids buying a PC copy solely to gain access now.
Why choose Steam or Steam Deck
Steam for a desktop setup
Steam is the lowest-uncertainty choice. The listing explicitly supports keyboard, mouse, touch and full controllers, so you can begin with a traditional PC setup and change input later. That flexibility is useful for a game that combines board-like placement, rapid matching and strategic menus: a mouse may feel natural for precise selection, while a controller can make couch play easier.
The released build also has a visible player-reception snapshot. Steam reports 1,121 total user reviews with 94% positive sentiment and 102 recent reviews with 95% positive sentiment in the captured listing. These numbers describe the listing at that moment; they are not a permanent score or a guarantee that the later ports will perform identically.
Steam Deck for handheld PC play
Steam lists Titanium Court as Steam Deck Verified. That is the strongest currently published evidence for a handheld experience, because it applies to an available build rather than an announced port. Deck owners can therefore play now while retaining PC platform access.
Verified status does not answer every question a phone buyer might have. It does not establish battery life, frame-rate targets, resolution, touch-screen behavior on a different operating system, cross-save with mobile or console, or whether a future port will share the same account systems. Treat it as a compatibility signal for Steam Deck, not as a parity guarantee across all devices.
Why choose a console
PlayStation 5
PlayStation 5 is an announced October 29 platform. A console is the straightforward choice if your main screen is a television, you keep a dedicated gamepad beside the sofa, or you want the game separated from a work computer. The announcement confirms the platform and date, but no authoritative resolution, frame-rate, performance-mode or accessibility comparison has been published.
Nintendo Switch 2
Nintendo Switch 2 is also scheduled for October 29. It is the console option for someone who wants Nintendo hardware while retaining a current handheld-console form factor. The announcement does not establish whether its version will have higher visual settings, faster loading or different control options than the original Switch version.
Nintendo Switch
The original Nintendo Switch is included in the same announcement. It may appeal to households that already use that system and do not want to add another device. Until launch materials provide technical targets, do not assume that its resolution, frame rate, battery draw or loading behavior will match Steam Deck or Switch 2.

Rank #2
- The next evolution of the Nintendo Switch system
- One system, three play modes: TV, Tabletop, and Handheld
- Larger, vivid, 7.9” LCD touch screen with support for HDR and up to 120 fps
- Supports up to 4K resolution** when using a compatible game and TV connected via the included Nintendo Switch 2 dock
- Nintendo Switch 2 plays compatible physical and digital Nintendo Switch games.***
Across all three consoles, the practical benefit is a conventional gamepad and a larger shared screen. The trade-off is timing: the versions are announced for October 29 rather than available in the current Steam release.
Why choose mobile
iOS and Android
iOS and Android editions are announced for October 29. A phone or tablet is the most portable option and makes direct touch interaction the expected starting point. That suits players who want to pick up a device anywhere and do not want a separate console or handheld PC.
Mobile is not automatically the cheapest or most complete edition. Final pricing, the monetization model, regional availability, controller support, battery impact and cross-save have not been published in the cited announcements. Wait for the store listing in your region before assuming that a one-time purchase, free-to-play structure, subscription requirement or shared progress will be available.
If you plan to play on a small phone, examine screenshots and accessibility information at launch. Grid-based decisions and text-heavy narrative scenes may be easier on a tablet, although no official minimum screen size has been announced.

Input: keyboard, controller or touch?
What is confirmed on Steam
Steam documents keyboard, mouse, touch and full controller support. That combination gives PC players several ways to solve the same interface problem. A mouse can provide direct pointer precision; a keyboard can speed repeated commands; a controller supports a relaxed sofa setup; and a touch screen can approximate the direct manipulation expected on a handheld.
What to expect, and not assume, on mobile
Touch is the natural default on iOS and Android, but the announcement does not confirm external-controller support. Do not buy a mobile edition on the assumption that a Bluetooth gamepad will be recognized, that every button can be remapped, or that touch and controller interfaces will expose identical shortcuts. Check the final store description and in-game settings after launch.
What to expect on consoles
Console versions are controller-first by platform convention. The announcements do not specify remapping, motion controls, mouse support or accessibility options. If a particular control layout is essential to you, wait for the platform listing or launch documentation rather than inferring it from the Steam feature list.
Screen size, setting and session style
Television and desk play
A television or desktop monitor gives strategic grids and narrative text more room. Console play also keeps the experience tied to a dedicated gaming environment: select a profile, pick up a controller and play without configuring a computer. Steam offers the same large-screen advantage while adding the option to switch input devices.

Steam Deck combines the immediate availability of the PC release with a handheld screen and physical controls. Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 are announced handheld-console alternatives, but their Titanium Court versions are not yet available to verify. A phone is the smallest and most ubiquitous option, with touch interaction and no requirement to carry a separate controller.
Portability can change how you approach a strategy game. Short, interruptible sessions are easier to fit around travel on a phone or handheld, while a television setup encourages longer, uninterrupted play. That is a use-case distinction, not a claim about the game’s actual scenario length; no official session-time target is published.
Technical parity and unanswered launch questions
Only the Steam edition has current store metadata and player-review data. The following items remain unresolved for console and mobile:

- Final price in each region and whether prices differ between platforms.
- Whether the game is sold as a single purchase, uses optional purchases or follows another monetization model.
- Cross-save or cross-progression between Steam, consoles and mobile.
- Resolution and frame-rate targets, loading behavior and battery consumption.
- Controller support on iOS and Android.
- Accessibility-feature parity, including text size, remapping and input alternatives.
- Regional availability and the exact timing of each platform storefront listing.
None of these gaps makes the announced ports a poor choice; they define what cannot responsibly be promised before launch. A buyer who values certainty should use the released Steam build. A buyer who values a particular device should wait for that device’s own listing and settings information.

Match-three interaction
Matching pieces is a direct, visual action. Touch can make that feel immediate, while a mouse supplies precise pointer control and a controller offers an alternative through directional input. The Steam listing’s multiple input modes are therefore useful even before considering the other systems.
Grid strategy and defense decisions
Grid-based strategy and tower-defense-style choices require you to read positions, resources and threats at the same time. A larger monitor or television can make that information easier to inspect. On a phone, zoom level, text size and touch-target design become more important; those implementation details are not yet documented for the mobile build.
Deckbuilding, autobattler and roguelite structure
Deckbuilder and autobattler systems often involve reviewing several options, while roguelite progression may ask you to make decisions between encounters. Titanium Court is described as combining these systems, but no platform-specific interface or save behavior has been announced. Choose the platform whose controls and screen you find comfortable for reading menus and comparing choices, then confirm the final interface before purchase.
Narrative interludes
The descriptions also mention visual-novel-style narrative interludes. Text presentation is a practical consideration: a television, monitor or tablet may be more comfortable for extended reading than a small phone. This is a display preference, not evidence that any platform has different story content.
A decision framework for common players
You want to play today
Choose Steam. It is released, has the broadest documented input support and provides the only current review snapshot. Choose Steam Deck instead if you want that same release in a handheld format and already use Valve’s handheld PC.
You own a PlayStation 5 or a Nintendo console
Wait for October 29 and use the system you already own. The announcement confirms those ports, so there is no reason to purchase a separate PC copy merely to match your preferred living-room hardware unless you also want immediate access before launch.
You want the smallest, most portable device
Wait for iOS or Android. Mobile is the announced phone-and-tablet route and is expected to be touch-first. Confirm price, monetization, controller support and regional availability in your local store before committing.
You want handheld play but dislike touch controls
Steam Deck is the most certain option because Steam explicitly marks the game Verified and documents full controller support. Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 may also fit, but their Titanium Court control details are not yet published.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsYou share a television with other players
A console is the clearest fit for a dedicated television setup. PlayStation 5, Switch 2 and Switch are all announced platforms; compare the hardware you already own, then check the individual store page when the October 29 release is live.
Quick Recap
Checks to make before buying a console or mobile edition
- Confirm that the game is listed in your country on the intended platform and that the release date has arrived.
- Read the platform’s purchase description to identify the price and monetization model instead of assuming it matches Steam.
- Look for explicit wording about cross-save or cross-progression if you also intend to play on PC.
- Check the controls section for remapping, external-controller support on mobile and any accessibility settings you require.
- Review the technical information supplied by the store or publisher for resolution, frame-rate and storage requirements.
- If you are using a phone or handheld, verify battery and storage implications from the final version rather than extrapolating from Steam Deck Verified status.
Bottom-line recommendation by priority
- Immediate access and the most documented flexibility: Steam on PC.
- Immediate handheld play with physical controls: Steam Deck.
- Television and dedicated-console convenience: PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch after the October 29 launch.
- Phone or tablet portability and touch: iOS or Android after the October 29 launch.
- Cross-platform certainty, exact pricing or technical parity: wait for the final console and mobile store pages, because those details are not yet established.
