No. The game was temporarily absent from the US store, but its listing was back by October 14, 2026. That makes this episode different from a confirmed permanent delisting. A delisting normally means a publisher has intentionally ended new digital sales; the evidence here shows a disappearance followed by reinstatement.

The same conclusion applies to Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Knack 2. Their temporary absence did not become a confirmed end-of-sale decision.
Can existing owners still play and download the games?
Yes. Existing owners retained access while the listings were missing. They could continue playing installed copies and redownload the games through their account libraries. Push Square assistant editor Stephen Tailby summarized the practical impact: “Anybody who owns the affected software can still play and download them, so no worries on that front.”
This distinction matters because a store listing controls discovery and new purchases, while an owner’s license is tied to the PlayStation account. If you already claimed one of the games digitally, use the console or web account library rather than searching the store page:
- Sign in to the PlayStation Network account that purchased or claimed the game.
- Open your Game Library on the console.
- Choose the title from the Purchased collection.
- Select Download, or select the download option for the version associated with your license.
Access still depends on using the account that owns the license. Removing a listing does not transfer ownership between accounts.
Why were the listings removed?
A pricing error or a software bug was suggested as the likely explanation. However, Sony had not publicly confirmed either cause in the report. It is therefore not accurate to describe the incident as a deliberate policy change, a licensing dispute or a broader PlayStation catalog purge.

Regional storefront systems can show different availability by country, platform generation and account region. The UK listings remaining online while North American pages were unavailable reinforce that the incident was localized. They do not, by themselves, identify the technical cause.
What the timeline shows
- Several days before October 14: North American users noticed that the three games could no longer be purchased from their store listings.
- During the outage: Existing owners could continue playing and redownloading their copies.
- October 14, 2026, 5:45 p.m. update: The listings were reported as restored on the US/North American storefront.
The short outage and subsequent restoration support a temporary catalog or pricing issue, but the absence of a Sony explanation means the root cause remains unconfirmed.
What should buyers do now?
If you want a digital copy
Search the US PlayStation Store again and verify that the purchase button and the correct edition appear for your account and console. Store availability can be region-specific, so an account registered outside North America may see different results.
If you already bought one
Do not repurchase it merely because the public product page disappeared. Check Game Library first; the existing account license should provide the download path.
If the game is missing from your library
Confirm that you are signed into the purchasing account, check transaction history, and restore licenses using the console’s account or license-management settings. If the title still does not appear, contact PlayStation Support with the purchase receipt. A missing store page alone does not prove that an individual license has been revoked.

Digital access versus a physical copy

Is this connected to other PlayStation delistings?
PlayStation’s support documentation separately records other catalog and service changes, including Destruction AllStars‘ removal from sale in May 2026. That notice does not explain the October disappearance of these three games. The incidents should not be treated as one confirmed delisting program without a direct Sony statement.
