Japan’s release calendars list two notable games for the week of October 5–11, 2026: Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] on October 8 and Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen on October 9. The listings name several platforms, but the Dragon’s Dogma entry is inconsistently described as a game or an expansion, so its exact product status remains unclear.

The dates below come from the Japanese-language GAME+ release calendar. They are calendar listings, not publisher confirmation. GAME+ release calendar.

What to know about each release
Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] — October 8
The GAME+ calendar lists the collection for Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A separate retailer listing shows PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 editions dated October 8, with preorder listings. That retailer page supports the existence of platform-specific listings, but it does not establish current stock or whether each listing is physical or digital; check the live product page before buying. Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen — October 9
The calendar lists the title for Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A retailer separately lists a Nintendo Switch 2 item for October 9. However, RealEase-Radar describes the item as an expansion in one place, while other entries present the title as a release. Until Capcom confirms the product identity, treat October 9 as a listed date rather than proof of a standalone game launch. RealEase-Radar listings.
#1 Best Overall
How certain are the dates and platforms?
Two calendars independently list the titles for October 8 and October 9, and a retailer also shows dated product listings for the relevant platforms. That agreement is useful, but it does not substitute for publisher confirmation. In particular, the available information does not settle whether the Dragon’s Dogma item is a full game or an expansion. Retailer listings and availability can also change, so verify the product’s region, platform, and format on the live listing before placing an order.
