Thermalright has launched the Peerless Assassin 120H-A Dark, a black dual-tower CPU air cooler with six heat pipes and support for current Intel and AMD desktop sockets. The company has published specifications and a three-year warranty, but as of October 1, 2026, launch coverage reported no announced price or availability—and no independent performance results for this exact model.
What the Peerless Assassin 120H-A Dark is
The 120H-A Dark is a dual-tower air cooler that uses six 6 mm heat pipes. Thermalright lists its installed dimensions, including fans, as 125 × 135 × 159 mm. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. Thermalright’s product page identifies the exact model; it should not be confused with the Peerless Assassin 120, 120 SE, or another variant.

Check case and memory clearance before buying
At 159 mm tall with fans installed, the cooler requires a case that accommodates its full height. Thermalright also warns about tall memory modules: “Please ensure that the chassis clearance exceeds the cooler installation height, and leave clearance for tall memory modules.” Check your case’s CPU-cooler clearance and the cooler’s fit around your specific RAM before ordering; socket support alone does not guarantee physical fit.

Price, availability, and performance evidence
ThinkComputers’ October 1, 2026 launch report said that Thermalright had not announced a price or availability date. Its report also noted that the manufacturer had not published comparative temperature results for the 120H-A Dark. ThinkComputers launch report
The fan’s airflow, pressure, and noise ratings do not establish how well the cooler performs against other models. No independent cooling or noise result specific to this cooler is established here, so a buyer cannot use these specifications alone to judge its temperatures, acoustics, or value.
