The dollhouse is a set of connected spaces. After interacting with an object, look for a newly accessible area, an altered mechanism or another change in the environment. What to do when you’re stuck
Use the least revealing kind of help that gets you moving. How to tell a puzzle from a possible technical problem
If an interaction appears to have registered incorrectly, a mechanism will not respond as expected, or progress seems blocked in a way observation cannot explain, consider a technical issue rather than repeatedly trying the same action. Fireproof recommends restarting the device or reloading the app if a bug blocks progress.
- Restart the app or device. If possible, preserve your current game state first. Then reopen the game and see whether the interaction behaves normally.
- Use Fireproof’s recovery instruction only if needed. The support page describes a hidden way to return to a point before a bug: pause the game and tap the “Game Paused” text five times. Fireproof’s page does not establish that this applies to every platform or version, so check that it fits your current game before relying on it.
