1. Capture No Hope Hotel and The Choke
Capture both Southwest control points: No Hope Hotel and The Choke. The task is to take both, not just one. Prima Games reports that this objective works at any Global Difficulty, so you can lower the setting to Normal if you prefer an easier encounter.
If either point is already under your control and the tracker does not advance, reset control points and capture the two Southwest locations again. The walkthroughs recommend this when the points were captured before starting Scout 7.

2. Complete three activities in Southwest
Finish any three eligible activities within the Southwest district. Reported options include green map activities, regional bounties, control points, and random map events. The location is part of the requirement: activity completions in another district do not count.
After each activity, check the Scout tracker. If the count has not changed, confirm that the activity was in Southwest and that this is the currently active objective.

3. Complete a Southwest Supply Drop
Locate a Supply Drop activity in Southwest and complete it by opening all three chests before enemy reinforcements reach them. Prima Games says the map marks Supply Drops with a green box-and-parachute icon.
Supply Drops appear randomly. Prima Games and iTechGuides report that liberating all control points in Southwest may be needed for one to appear, but do not establish this as a guaranteed spawn rule. Confirm the activity is in Southwest before starting it.

What to check if Scout 7 does not progress
- Check the active objective: Scout tasks are sequential, so verify the tracker before attempting a step.
- For the control-point step: If the points were already captured, reset control points and recapture No Hope Hotel and The Choke.
- For the three-activity step: Use activities inside Southwest and check tracker progress after each one.
- For the Supply Drop step: Choose a Southwest drop and open all three chests before reinforcements arrive.
The published walkthroughs do not identify one definitive cause for every tracking issue. Verify the district and objective order in the in-game tracker rather than assuming that an activity elsewhere will count. Seasonal objectives and open-world activity spawns can change, so follow the tracker if its wording or progress differs from these reported solutions.
