Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThere is no proven, repeatable channel that guarantees the first 100 customers for a paid React Native template. Early sales depend on two things working together: developers need to find the product, and they need enough evidence to trust the code before buying. Treat the first sales as a series of small, measurable experiments—not as proof that one marketing tactic will scale.
Why the first customers are hard to win
A paid template sells a shortcut, but a buyer cannot judge that shortcut from a title and a screenshot alone. They need to know whether its screens and workflows fit their project, which technologies and services it depends on, how it runs on their target platforms, and what help is available if setup goes wrong. A relatively unknown seller must make those details inspectable while also reaching developers who already have the relevant need.

That creates a cold start: without customers, it is harder to demonstrate trust; without trust and visibility, it is harder to get customers. Product evidence can reduce the trust gap, while search, relevant discussions, and direct contact are plausible ways to reach people with intent.

What current listings show buyers
Existing listings illustrate how sellers make a template’s scope easier to evaluate. Native Templates describes Multia as a React Native and Expo marketplace template with booking, profiles, provider tools, dashboards, and service listings. Its page lists more than 40 screens, iOS and Android support, and a $99 asking price; the seller page says it was updated October 2, 2026. The page also offers a phone preview app. These are vendor claims about the product, not independent validation of its code quality or performance. See the Multia product page.
#1 Best Overall
Other listings show that prices and bundle scope vary: RapidNative lists an individual multivendor commerce template at $149 and a bundle of 19 templates at $999. A separate Native Templates listing prices a marketplace template at $99. These are asking prices shown on the pages, not evidence of sales, demand, or an optimized price. A bundle is not automatically a better fit; its value depends on what the buyer actually needs. See the RapidNative listings.
Make the shortcut concrete
A strong product page helps a buyer answer practical questions without having to guess. Show real screens and, where possible, a working preview or walkthrough. Describe what is included rather than relying on broad labels such as “production-ready.” In particular, specify:
- Which screens and complete workflows are implemented, such as booking, checkout, chat, or order tracking.
- The React Native and Expo versions, language, styling system, backend requirements, and named integrations.
- Which platforms are supported and how a prospective buyer can inspect the product.
- Setup instructions, documentation, customization guidance, updates, and the actual limits of support.
- What each price or bundle includes, so buyers can compare scope rather than price alone.
Check the specific product page for current versions, terms, and support policies: listings and prices can change. A vendor’s feature list establishes what it claims to include; it does not independently establish implementation quality or how much time a buyer will save.

The available channel clues come from individual sellers, not representative research. One Shipnative seller reported roughly 30 customers in a 2026 Reddit post and said most sales came from people searching “react native boilerplate” or finding a mention in a thread. The seller also noted incomplete ad attribution. That account suggests experiments worth trying, but it does not establish their scale, conversion rate, or contribution relative to other channels. Read the seller’s account.

Match the product to existing search intent
Start by describing the job the template removes: for example, setting up a marketplace flow or a particular kind of commerce app. Use the terms developers use for that task, not only your product’s brand name. “React native boilerplate” is one phrase mentioned in the seller account, but it is not evidence that the phrase will work for every template. Build a page that clearly connects the query to the included screens, stack, and limitations.
Answer relevant discussions
Look for developer questions that your product genuinely answers. Offer a useful response first, then show the template when it directly fits the question. A seller’s report of sales associated with a thread mention is a clue, not proof that posting broadly or repeatedly will produce customers. Relevance and transparency matter: a product mention should help the person asking, not interrupt an unrelated conversation.
Rank #4
Use conversations and demos to reduce uncertainty
A short walkthrough or live preview can reveal whether the core flows match a developer’s needs. Conversations with interested developers can also expose missing information on the product page: perhaps a backend dependency is unclear, a setup step is undocumented, or the buyer expects a workflow that is not included. Treat those exchanges as product learning as well as possible sales, and make the boundary between a demo and delivered functionality explicit.
Learn from early buyers without overpromising
A NativeExpress creator described taking preorders before every part was complete, answering customers in Discord, and using support conversations to understand what buyers needed. The creator also reported trying social posts, developer communities, SEO, and ads. In the same Reddit account, the creator reported $700 in preorders and approximately $5,000 over 2.5 months. Those figures are self-reported and are not independently checked or representative results; they do not show that the same approach will work for another seller. Read the creator’s account.
Best Value
Preorders can bring buyer feedback before a product is finished, but they also create obligations. If you accept them, say plainly what is ready, what is still being built, when delivery is expected, and what refund terms apply. The account above does not establish that preorders suit every product or audience. Likewise, direct support may reveal friction quickly, but define the help you can realistically provide rather than promising unlimited assistance.

Because the seller accounts do not establish a reliable path to 100 customers, use them as starting points for tests. Change one meaningful thing at a time where practical, and keep a record of what happened. Useful measures include:
- Qualified visits to the product page, with the source or search phrase when known.
- Relevant conversations, requests for demos, and questions that repeatedly arise.
- Purchases and refunds, alongside the channel or campaign associated with them.
- Support requests, setup problems, and time spent helping each buyer.
Attribution will not always be complete: the Shipnative seller specifically noted gaps in ad attribution. Do not turn an uncertain source into a confident channel claim. Separate observed results from guesses, and use repeated questions or setup failures to improve the listing, documentation, or product itself.

What the first 100-customer goal can—and cannot—mean
The examples establish that paid React Native and Expo templates are listed at a range of prices and that individual sellers report finding some buyers through search, thread mentions, communities, social posts, SEO, and ads. They do not establish market-wide conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, a typical time to 100 customers, or which channel is best. The first 100 is therefore a useful milestone to work toward, not an outcome guaranteed by a particular playbook.
For a small team, the practical aim is to make every early interaction more informative: help the right developer discover the template, let them inspect what they would receive, and learn from the questions and problems that follow. Keep the claims on the product page verifiable, and judge channels by your own recorded results rather than by another seller’s anecdote.
