The right choice depends on your class branch, equipment slot, role, target content, and live game version. The class-by-class list below is a practical starting point based on BlueStacks’ recommendations—not a tested build or definitive meta ranking. Check each card’s effect and availability in your client before spending resources.
How to choose cards for your build
Start with what your character needs to do, then compare cards for the slot you are filling. A damage card that suits a boss-focused build may be a poor trade for a tank or support character that needs to stay alive.

- Damage: Match physical or magical effects to your damage type, and consider penetration, final damage, and elemental or matchup bonuses where relevant.
- Attack speed and casting: Attack speed can suit repeated attacks; cast support and protection from interruption can matter more to spellcasters.
- Survivability: HP and defensive effects may be more useful than peak damage for frontliners, close-range attackers, and content where staying alive is the priority.
- Role and mode: PvE farming, boss fights, PvP, tanking, and support can reward different effects. PvP in particular may favor defense or utility over damage.
- Slot and opportunity cost: Compare options for the slot you are actually filling and the gear you own, rather than copying a full setup without considering its trade-offs.
Class labels alone do not tell the whole story. The official Ragnarok X: Next Generation site describes Swordsman branches including AGI Swordsman, Spear Knight, and VIT Knight, illustrating how different builds within one class can have different needs.

What the recommendations are trying to support
Swordsman branches: Lord Knight and Paladin
The guide frames Lord Knight around physical damage and durability. For Paladin, its listed setup is similar, but the accessory recommendation changes to Vitata. These are starting points; a build focused on taking hits may value defensive effects differently from one focused on damage.
Priests and magic classes: High Priest, High Wizard, and Professor
The High Priest suggestions are presented with survivability and cast utility in mind. For High Wizard, the guide emphasizes magic damage and uninterrupted casting, listing Phen or Zerom as accessory alternatives. Professor’s listed setup uses Zerom. Check the actual card effects and your role before choosing between damage and casting support.
Rank #2
- Officially licensed movie merchandise
- Deck contains multiple images
- Cards measure 2.5 x 3.5
- Cards have a linen type finish
Physical attackers: Champion, Sniper, Clown/Gypsy, Assassin Cross, Stalker, Whitesmith, and Creator
The guide associates Sniper with attack speed and survivability, and Assassin Cross with burst, critical hits, and attack speed. The table includes alternatives in several slots for these and other physical attackers, but it does not supply verified effect comparisons or a universal priority order. Use your build’s damage type and target content to narrow the options.
Where to get cards and check their drops
According to the BlueStacks guide, cards can drop from specific monsters and can also be sought through the in-game Exchange. Use the Adventure Handbook or inspect a monster in the field to check its card-drop information. Drop sources, availability, and Exchange prices can vary; the guide notes that drops may take patience and that demand can affect Exchange prices, particularly for sought-after MVP drops.
Rank #3
- Contains 9 cards per pack
Before farming or buying, confirm the drop source, card effect, and current availability in your own client and server. A listed recommendation is not a guarantee that the card is easy to obtain or worth its current price.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why “best” can change with the game version
Class balance affects which builds and card effects are attractive. In its July 3, 2026 notice for the July 7 update, the publisher said final class-balance effects depend on the actual live version and described continued monitoring and optimization. That is a reason to recheck recommendations after updates, not proof that any particular card has become stronger or weaker.
Rank #4
- YuGiOh STORM OF RAGNAROK SPECIAL EDITION
Pocket Gamer’s tier list, updated September 2, 2026, labels itself version 2.4.0 and says its broad rankings consider PvE, PvP, and accessibility. Those criteria show why rankings depend on what a player values, but a class tier list does not verify card-by-card setups.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- These are 60 micron sleeves which are ideal for games where you have a lot of cards. Thicker card sleeves are nice but getting the cards back in the box and handling hugely overstacked decks is a big issue on games over 100 cards.
- Extra Value At Low Cost 550 Sleeves are more than enough to sleeve the entire Lords of Ragnarok ALL IN game
