Terrance Ferguson has shown big-play and touchdown upside, but the available stats do not establish a dependable weekly role. The Rams’ unofficial depth chart groups him with Colby Parkinson; it does not prove either player leads the tight-end rotation. For fantasy, Ferguson is best viewed as speculative upside until his routes, targets and playing time show that his involvement is growing.
How the Rams may use Terrance Ferguson
Tight end in the Rams’ offense can mean blocking beside the offensive line or releasing from a detached alignment as a receiver. In a September 6, 2026 team interview, Ferguson said he felt more comfortable with the system in his second season and wanted to contribute across the job: “I just want to be involved in all aspects of the game.” The interview describes him as capable of playing multiple positions, but it does not provide a measured alignment breakdown or route rate. Where Ferguson stands among Rams tight ends
The Rams’ depth chart is explicitly unofficial. It places Ferguson and Colby Parkinson in one tight-end grouping, with Davis Allen, Tyler Higbee and Max Klare in other groupings. Those labels offer organizational context, not a reliable ranking of snaps, passing-down work or targets. The available sources do not provide comparable usage figures for the group. Ferguson’s receiving production
NFL.com lists Ferguson with 11 receptions, 231 receiving yards and three touchdowns across 14 regular-season games in 2025. His listed average was 21 yards per catch. The Rams’ player profile adds that he made six receptions of at least 25 yards that season; the team says that was the most by a Rams rookie tight end in the prior 35 years and tied for third-most among NFL tight ends. That comparison is attributed to the Rams, not an independently verified league study. Rams player profile · NFL.com statistics.
In the first three 2026 games displayed on the Rams and NFL player pages as of October 4, 2026, Ferguson had seven catches for 63 yards and one touchdown. That is production to date in a very small sample, not evidence of a stable target rate or a full-season forecast.

What Ferguson’s numbers mean for fantasy
The rookie season supports a case for big-play and scoring upside: Ferguson averaged 21 yards per catch in 2025 and recorded three touchdowns. His early 2026 receiving line shows involvement, but it does not establish that he is earning enough weekly volume for a reliable floor. Neither the player statistics nor the unofficial chart supplies the route, snap, target-share or red-zone comparisons needed to measure his opportunity against Parkinson, Higbee, Allen and Klare.

The practical fantasy call depends on your format and alternatives: a weekly lineup decision should weigh his demonstrated opportunity against other available tight ends, while a longer-term evaluation should track whether his routes and targets rise. The evidence cited here does not support a numerical projection.
