TCL and Globo announced a distribution agreement bringing three free, ad-supported channels to TCL Channel on TCL smart TVs in Brazil: Malhação FAST, D.P.A. – Detetives do Prédio Azul FAST and Receitas FAST. This is a Brazilian FAST-channel offering—not the full Globo pay-TV lineup or a confirmed worldwide TCL rollout.
What TCL and Globo announced
The agreement expands TCL Channel with three Globo-branded FAST channels. FAST means free ad-supported streaming television: viewers can watch without a paid channel subscription, while advertising supports the service. TCL’s announcement presents these channels as free; it does not say viewers need a separate Globoplay subscription.
The TCL Brazil page is dated September 18, 2025, but the announcement text carries a São Paulo dateline of August 29, 2025. The safest description is an announcement dated August 29 in its text and posted on TCL’s site on September 18.
TCL’s announcement says TCL Channel had more than 24 million users worldwide. That is TCL’s company-reported figure, not independently audited audience data; it does not mean these Globo channels are available worldwide.

What each channel offers
Malhação FAST
This channel is devoted to episodes of Globo’s long-running youth soap opera Malhação. TCL describes programming from several eras: Academia (1995–1999), Múltipla Escolha (1999–2009), and Pós Múltipla Escolha (2009–2020). The announcement says new episodes are released daily at 6 p.m.; schedules can change, so that time should be treated as the schedule described in the announcement, not a guarantee of the current lineup. TCL says the channel debuted on December 13, 2023.
D.P.A. – Detetives do Prédio Azul FAST
Built around Globo’s children’s series D.P.A. – Detetives do Prédio Azul, this channel is described as programming for children and families. TCL’s announcement says it carries the first 13 seasons and began transmissions on December 13, 2023. It does not establish that every season or the complete series is available on demand.
Receitas FAST
This food and lifestyle channel features recipes and cooking guidance. TCL names chefs and presenters Claude Troisgros, Paola Carosella, Felipe Bronze and Rita Lobo among its programming talent. The announcement says Receitas launched in December 2022.

Who can watch—and what is not confirmed
The verified scope is TCL smart TVs in Brazil through TCL Channel. The announcement does not provide a complete compatible-model list, software-version requirements, channel numbers or a universal device-compatibility table. It also does not establish access through third-party TVs, streaming devices, mobile apps or browsers.

TCL’s separate North American TCLtv+ announcement discusses a different regional service and NFL content, not these Globo channels.
FAST channels are not the same as on-demand libraries
A FAST channel is programmed as a stream, more like a scheduled channel than a catalogue in which you choose any episode at any time. Free refers to the viewer price for the channel, not an ad-free experience. The TCL announcement does not promise that the full Malhação, D.P.A. or Globo library can be watched on demand, that every episode will remain available, or that viewing is uninterrupted.
Rank #3
- The Google TV Streamer (4K) delivers your favorite entertainment quickly, easily, and personalized to you[1,2]
- HDMI 2.1 cable required (sold separately)
- See movies and TV shows from all your services right from your home screen[2]; and find new things to watch with tailored recommendations for everyone in your home based on their interests and viewing habits
- Watch live TV and access over 800 free channels from Pluto TV, Tubi, and more[3]; if you find an interesting show or movie on your TV, mobile app, or Google search, you can easily add it to your watchlist, so it’s ready when you are[2]
- Up to 4K HDR with Dolby Vision delivers captivating, true-to-life detail[4]; and you can connect speakers that support Dolby Atmos for more immersive 3D sound
How the deal differs from Globo’s other services
The agreement covers three curated entertainment, children’s and food channels—not Globo’s full paid live-channel portfolio. Globo’s support information about its products and partners distinguishes paid channels such as GNT, Multishow, GloboNews, SporTV and Gloob from free digital offerings. Viewers seeking that broader paid lineup should not treat these three FAST channels as a replacement for it.
Sports-focused ge TV is a separate development, not a fourth channel in this three-channel agreement. Globo announced ge TV separately in August 2025, with TCL availability planned later in September; TCL also published a separate ge TV partnership announcement. Globo’s ge TV announcement describes it as a free digital sports-entertainment channel.
