The TCL 75C7K is a feature-rich 75-inch 4K QD-Mini LED TV with a 144 Hz native refresh rate, four HDMI 2.1 inputs, Google TV and a built-in Bang & Olufsen audio system. TCL’s Australia specification sheet lists 1,248 local-dimming zones and 3,000-nit peak brightness, but those are manufacturer specifications—not independent measurements of this 75-inch model. An independent review of the 65-inch C7K found very high brightness and vibrant color, while noting screen-uniformity issues. That makes the 75C7K promising on paper, but its exact-size performance remains unverified by the available independent test.
What is the TCL 75C7K?
The 75C7K is the 75-inch version of TCL’s C7K television family. TCL describes the family as QLED with Mini LED backlighting and a CrystGlow HVA panel. The Australia-specific 75-inch sheet identifies a 4K resolution of 3,840 × 2,160 and full-array local dimming. TCL Australia’s product information and the 75C7K specification sheet are the most relevant references for that regional model.

There is an important size-and-region distinction in TCL’s zone figures. The Australia 75-inch specification lists 1,248 dimming zones. TCL’s global C7K family page advertises up to 2,048 zones across the range; that family maximum should not be attributed to the Australian 75-inch set. TCL’s global C7K page also cautions that laboratory data can vary with test environments and standards.
How good is the picture?
Brightness: a strong specification, with a sample-size caveat
TCL Australia specifies peak brightness of 3,000 nits for the 75C7K. This is a manufacturer-listed figure, not a measurement from an independent test of the 75-inch television. In its 2025 review, TechRadar tested a 65-inch C7K and measured 1,790 nits in Filmmaker Mode on a 10% white HDR window, falling to 578 nits on a 100% white fullscreen window. In Standard mode, it measured 2,784 nits on the 10% window and 678 nits fullscreen. These results belong to that 65-inch sample and those test patterns and modes; they are not 75C7K measurements.
#1 Best Overall
- Real 4K HDR picture: A true 4K UHD (3840x2160) panel with Open HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG support delivers sharper detail and richer contrast than standard HD
- Built for gaming and sports: Game Accelerator 120 plus Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and Motion Rate 240 with MEMC combine to cut input lag and smooth out fast motion, so this 75 inch smart TV keeps up with consoles and live sports alike
- Your next Roku TV: One simple home screen puts live local news, sports, movies, and thousands of free and paid streaming channels in one place — no separate streaming box required
- Works with your smart home: Compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit, plus built-in Google Cast and AirPlay 2 for mirroring video, music, and photos straight from your phone or laptop
- Bigger sound to match the screen: Stronger speakers with Dolby Digital+ passthrough give dialogue and sports commentary more presence at this larger size, or pass through cleanly to a soundbar
The difference between a small HDR highlight and a full-screen white field matters: peak-window and fullscreen readings describe different conditions. The 65-inch test suggests the C7K can deliver intense highlights, while its lower fullscreen readings give a separate indication of sustained brightness across a larger area. They cannot establish how the 75-inch model performs in either condition.
Color and uniformity
TechRadar’s 65-inch sample covered 97.1% of UHDA-P3 and 78.4% of BT.2020 in Filmmaker Mode. The reviewer described its picture as vibrant and bright, but identified screen uniformity as a weakness. That observation is useful context for the C7K family, not proof that every 75-inch unit has the same issue. Panel uniformity can matter in broad, even scenes such as skies, sports fields or panning shots, so it is worth checking a newly installed set with varied content during the retailer’s return period.

- 4K UltraHD QLED color: Quantum Dot technology delivers over a billion vibrant, true-to-life shades in every scene
- HDR PRO+: Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 & HLG for enhanced contrast, accurate color, and fine detail across every format
- Dolby Atmos + DTS:X: Full spatial audio support across both major formats - Dolby Atmos and DTS:X/DTS Virtual:X - for broader soundbar and content compatibility
- Auto Game Mode (ALLM) + Game Bar: Automatic low-latency switching plus an on-screen overlay to fine-tune settings without leaving the game
- Motion Rate 240 with MEMC: Best-in-class motion clarity for fast sports and action, double the motion rating of typical competing QLEDs, for an ultra-crisp, blur-free picture
Does it support 4K at 144Hz?
TCL lists a 144 Hz native refresh rate for the 75C7K. Its sheet also describes “288Hz* / 144Hz” VRR and specifies that the 288 Hz mode is up to 2K for gaming. In other words, the headline 288 Hz figure is not a 4K mode; the listed native refresh rate is 144 Hz. The specification sheet includes HDMI 2.1, ALLM and FreeSync Premium Pro. It does not establish that every input or device combination supports every resolution and refresh-rate feature, so confirm the requirements for the specific console or PC and the signal format you intend to use.
Ports, smart TV and audio
The Australia sheet lists four HDMI 2.1 inputs, one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.4. Audio connections include eARC and optical SPDIF. For HDR, TCL lists HDR10+, Dolby Vision IQ and IMAX Enhanced. Google TV is the smart-TV platform, with 64 GB of listed storage. TCL notes that specifications may change and that some listed features may require a software update.

The built-in sound system is rated at 60 W and is branded Bang & Olufsen, with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X listed. TechRadar described the 65-inch sample’s sound as punchy, but said its soundstage and bass were limited. That is the reviewer’s assessment of the tested set, not an independent measurement of the 75-inch model. If strong low-frequency effects or a more spacious presentation are priorities, compare the built-in audio with an external system before deciding.
Size, weight and wall mounting
For the Australian 75C7K, TCL lists dimensions of 1,666 × 995 × 367 mm with the stand and 1,666 × 960 × 56.7 mm without it. Listed weight is 26.6 kg with the stand or 24.6 kg without. The VESA mounting pattern is 300 × 300 mm, and TCL says the wall bracket is not included.

Before choosing a mount, check the exact regional model, compatibility with the 300 × 300 mm pattern, the mount’s weight rating, the supplied fasteners and the suitability of the wall and fixing points. The TV’s dimensions also make it worth measuring the intended space, including clearance for cables and the stand or bracket.

On paper, the 75C7K combines a large 4K Mini LED screen, a high native refresh rate, broad HDR-format support, four HDMI 2.1 inputs and unusually substantial built-in audio. The independent 65-inch review provides encouraging evidence for brightness and color, but its screen-uniformity criticism and its measurements cannot settle the picture quality of the 75-inch Australian model.

Current retail price and availability are not established here. TechRadar’s review page listed a launch price of £1,799 / AU$2,999 and later a reduced £1,349 / AU$2,295; those are dated review-page prices, not current October 2026 offers. Quick Recap
- Best fit: someone seeking a large-screen 4K TV with local dimming, high-refresh gaming features and multiple HDMI 2.1 inputs.
- Check carefully: whether the regional specification matches your needs, how the panel looks in your room, and whether the mount or audio setup requires extra purchases.
- Evidence limitation: independent measurements cited here are from a 65-inch C7K, not a 75-inch 75C7K.
