What kind of game is it?
Suri: The Seventh Note is described by its developers as a rhythm-action platformer. The soundtrack is part of the play: players run, jump, and phase in sync with the music, and timing shapes the movement sequences rather than serving as background decoration. The PlayStation Store also describes handcrafted escape sequences and movement abilities that develop over the course of the adventure.

Game director Glen Martin says the team chose a 480-millisecond interval for rhythm feedback to balance responsiveness, rhythmic clarity, and gameplay momentum. That is the developer’s explanation of a design choice, not an independently measured performance result or a universal rule for rhythm games.

What is the story?
Players control Ajira, who sets out to find a magical fruit that could save her mother. The newer PlayStation Store description says her mother’s illness also took her father; as Ajira’s journey continues, it becomes a quest to restore the rhythmic balance of the island of Suri.
Martin has described the game’s visual influences as including Rajput forts, Theyyam culture, Himalayan monasteries, and regional Indian cultures. Those are the director’s stated influences for the game, rather than a general description of Indian culture.

Standard vs. Digital Deluxe: what is included?
The US PlayStation Store listing offers Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. The Deluxe edition adds a Chandini skin and the Trials of Yama DLC to the base game. Martin’s announcement also says the Deluxe edition offers three-day early access. Edition contents and availability can change, so confirm the current listing in your region before purchasing.

Does the game require a DualSense controller or vibration?
The PlayStation Store listing supports DualSense vibration and explicitly says the game can be played without controller vibration. A DualSense wireless controller is therefore an optional way to use the supported vibration feature, not an additional requirement established by the listing.
Which platforms are confirmed?
The official announcement and store pages identify PS5. They do not establish a PC release or confirm other platforms, so a wider platform launch should not be assumed.
