For a true, continuous 24/7 YouTube loop of prerecorded videos, Gyre is the closer fit of these two: its documented workflow is built around cloud-hosted playlists that restart automatically. StreamYard’s documented prerecorded feature schedules a finite broadcast to start unattended; it does not establish an endless playlist loop. If you want a scheduled episode or a hosted show with production controls, StreamYard may make more sense. If you want a channel to keep looping uploaded videos, compare Gyre with StreamNeo as well as the do-it-yourself alternatives.
Choose by the kind of broadcast you need

Plan for YouTube’s archive, monetization, and rights rules
A 24/7 stream is not a dependable full-length replay
YouTube says it can automatically archive a live stream if it is less than 12 hours. It also warns that streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. If you need a replay, retain a separate recording rather than relying on the continuous broadcast archive. See YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance.

Looping does not guarantee monetization eligibility
YouTube’s monetization policies apply to live streams and assess content for originality and authenticity. Repetitive or mass-produced programming may fall under its inauthentic-content policy, and reused-content rules are separate from copyright enforcement. YouTube says reviewers check the channel and its content against its policies. Explain the original value of your programming; neither automation nor simply running videos live establishes monetization eligibility. See YouTube’s channel monetization policies.

Clear every right in the broadcast
YouTube’s livestream terms require content providers to represent and warrant that they have the necessary rights for worldwide exploitation of livestream content, including music licensing rights. Confirm that you can rebroadcast all video, audio, and other material in the playlist. See YouTube’s Terms of Service.

Live ad figures are not a revenue forecast
YouTube reports that creators who chose automatic live mid-roll ads saw, on average, over 20% uplift in instream ad revenue per hour compared with channels that had not enabled automatic live mid-rolls. YouTube says this comparison covered 207 countries in January 2024. It is a platform-reported average, not a prediction or guarantee for an individual channel or a continuous loop. - Will this run continuously or stop after one program? Match the provider’s documented loop behavior to your intended schedule; do not infer an endless loop from an unattended start.
- Does the plan fit your files and schedule? Check per-video duration, storage, concurrent streams, and scheduling limits against your actual playlist and calendar.
- Can you safely leave it running? Decide how you will handle a YouTube interruption and whether you need a separate archive or local recording.
- Is the content suitable for YouTube? Check rights for all material and assess whether the programming adds original value under YouTube’s monetization policies.
- Are the terms current? Treat the cited StreamYard prices and Gyre’s September 2026 figures as dated page or vendor-update information, not guaranteed checkout prices.
An optional Elgato Stream Deck may help a creator who manually manages live ad controls: YouTube’s live monetization page mentions a Stream Deck plugin for inserting ads. It is not required to run StreamYard or Gyre.
