Why a listed plan price is not the full 24/7 quote
StreamShark’s Live Schedule guide describes arranging StreamShark VOD content into a lineup that can play as live on a schedule or loop continuously. Its support overview says schedules can run 24/7, but identifies the feature as available to customers on subscription plans with a Dedicated Server attached. The public pricing page does not state the Dedicated Server’s incremental price or clearly identify which public tier meets that condition.

There is also a difference to clarify: the public plan comparison lists Live Scheduler under Enterprise features, while support documentation describes eligibility by subscription plan plus attached Dedicated Server. Ask StreamShark which current plan-and-server combination grants scheduler access, what the complete recurring charge is, and whether a separate server charge applies. The reviewed documentation does not establish the current YouTube destination setup, required YouTube account configuration, or platform restrictions; confirm those details with StreamShark before committing.
What to include in a cost estimate
Transfer depends on audience and viewing
Monthly transfer is shared across live streaming and VOD. If use exceeds the plan allowance, StreamShark lists a per-GB overage; the table above shows each plan’s rate. The included allowance is not a fixed amount reserved solely for the 24/7 stream, so account for other live and VOD activity too.

Estimate transfer from expected concurrent viewers, average viewing time, and stream bitrate or quality. StreamShark’s pricing page uses example bitrates of 3 Mbps for 720p, 5 Mbps for 1080p, and 12 Mbps for 4K. These are planning examples, not a guaranteed usage figure for every stream. StreamShark notes its calculator estimate is approximate and actual usage varies with viewer drop-off, device mix, and playback quality.
Check storage and encoding as well
Included VOD storage is 500 GB on Standard, 2,000 GB on Team, and 5,000 GB on Business. StreamShark lists VOD storage overage at the plan’s standard transfer rate and VOD encoding overage at $0.50/GB. Ask how your library, encoding activity, live delivery, and any other VOD use will be billed together.

StreamShark states that 4K live streaming requires Enterprise. Confirm stream count, resolution, backup ingest, support arrangements, and scheduler eligibility against the current quote rather than assuming that a base plan price covers a particular continuous-stream setup.
Questions to ask StreamShark before subscribing
- Which current plan and Dedicated Server configuration enables Live Scheduler, and what is the complete monthly or annual cost?
- Can the scheduled loop publish to your specific YouTube channel, and what setup or account requirements apply?
- How will the expected audience and bitrate affect transfer use, and what happens if shared live-and-VOD transfer exceeds the allowance?
- Does the plan cover your required resolution, number of simultaneous streams, VOD storage, encoding, backup ingest, and support needs?
- If choosing annual billing, is the upfront payment acceptable given the 20% saving StreamShark advertises?
