The best camera for streaming depends on how you frame your shot, whether you move around, and whether you need a built-in microphone—not simply on the highest resolution. How to choose a webcam for streaming
Start with the size and movement of your on-screen image. Consider it when you want a straightforward desk camera and value the included mounting and microphones.

Elgato Facecam: image controls when audio is separate
Digital Camera World lists uncompressed 1080p60 and settings control as Facecam strengths. Elgato specifies fixed focus, an 82-degree field of view, USB-C, onboard settings memory, and a 1/4-inch mounting thread. It has no built-in microphone, so plan on separate audio equipment. The fixed-focus design makes camera distance and placement especially relevant; it is not the pick here for autofocus.

Logitech lists 4K at 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps, integrated dual beamforming microphones, AI image enhancement, and a privacy shutter. It combines a high-resolution option with built-in audio, but 4K is not automatically the best value for a small facecam overlay. Choose it if the additional resolution and all-in-one microphone arrangement suit your workflow.
Logitech StreamCam: autofocus and auto-framing at 1080p60
Logitech lists 1080p at 60 fps, autofocus, and auto-framing, plus support for OBS, XSplit, and Streamlabs OBS. This makes it a fit for someone who wants to remain centered while moving within the frame but does not prioritize 4K. Those options can help if your stream needs different framing or resolution modes. Decide based on the actual size of the camera image and how much flexibility you will use, rather than treating the 4K label alone as a reason to upgrade.
