There is no established Snapdragon X Elite-specific Bluetooth mouse defect or Qualcomm-issued fix in the cited sources. Start with the mouse, nearby USB devices, and Windows’ Bluetooth troubleshooting steps; if the problem remains, check drivers for your exact PC model and test the mouse on another computer.
First, tell wake-up delay from ongoing stutter
If the cursor pauses only after the mouse has been idle, then works normally, it may be a brief wake-and-reconnect delay. Microsoft notes that some Bluetooth mice sleep to save battery and can take several seconds to reconnect after inactivity. Persistent or repeated choppiness calls for the checks below. Work through these checks in order

Check power, distance, and the mouse itself
Make sure the mouse is switched on and charged, or replace its batteries. Move it closer to the PC, then switch it off and on again. If possible, try the mouse on another computer; Microsoft recommends this as a way to help determine whether the mouse or the original PC is involved. Move the PC away from nearby USB 3.0 devices
Temporarily disconnect or move nearby unshielded USB 3.0 devices, then test the mouse again. Microsoft says, “Unshielded USB devices can sometimes interfere with Bluetooth connections.” This is a possible source of interference, not proof that a particular USB device is causing the stutter. Reduce Bluetooth activity and pair the mouse again if needed
Temporarily turn off other connected Bluetooth devices and see whether the mouse improves. If it does not, remove the mouse from Windows Bluetooth settings and pair it again. These are general accessory troubleshooting steps; they may not resolve every connection problem. See Microsoft’s pairing and accessory guidance.

Run Windows’ Bluetooth troubleshooting and update
On Windows 11, open Get Help and run the Bluetooth troubleshooter. Then check Windows Update and Device Manager for Bluetooth driver updates, and restart the PC. Microsoft also documents steps for Bluetooth devices that keep disconnecting, including troubleshooting and driver checks: Bluetooth keeps disconnecting in Windows. Its guidance applies to Windows 11 and Windows 10, but is general Windows support—not a Snapdragon X Elite-specific remedy. Fix Bluetooth problems in Windows has additional checks.

Get the Bluetooth driver from your PC maker
If Windows reports that the best driver is already installed and the issue continues, look up the support page for the exact laptop model. Microsoft notes that the manufacturer may offer a newer driver. If the stutter began after a driver update, Device Manager may offer Roll Back Driver; reinstalling the Bluetooth driver is another option. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and avoid unrelated drivers. Microsoft’s Bluetooth driver instructions cover updating, reinstalling, rolling back, and contacting the PC maker.

Swap devices to isolate the problem
Try this mouse on another PC, or connect another mouse to the Snapdragon X Elite PC. If the first mouse works elsewhere, the original PC or its Bluetooth connection may be involved; if another mouse also stutters on this PC, that further points toward the PC side. These tests narrow the possibilities but do not identify a specific component by themselves. Microsoft recommends testing the mouse with another computer in its Surface accessory troubleshooting.

If Bluetooth is still unreliable, consider a different connection path
A wireless mouse with a USB receiver can bypass Bluetooth, but it does not repair the PC’s Bluetooth connection. Before choosing one, check that the receiver can connect to an available USB port—or that you have a suitable adapter—and confirm the mouse’s Windows on ARM compatibility with its manufacturer. Consider its battery or charging needs as well. Microsoft’s mouse and keyboard troubleshooting covers wireless USB receivers; no specific mouse model or ARM compatibility was verified here.
