Spectrum currently advertises 100 Mbps internet, Advanced WiFi and one Unlimited Mobile line at that starting price for qualifying new customers. The mobile line is covered by bill credits for up to 12 months, so compare the full bill both while the credits apply and after they end.
What Spectrum One includes
Spectrum describes Spectrum One as a monthly-price bundle combining Spectrum Internet, Advanced WiFi (or qualifying Invincible WiFi) and one line of Unlimited Mobile. The offer page advertises a starting price of $40 per month for 100 Mbps internet, Advanced WiFi and Unlimited Mobile. That is a limited-time offer, subject to change, and its terms say it is for new residential customers who have had no Spectrum service in the prior 30 days. The $40 starting price is not a universal quote. Spectrum’s final internet rate and available offer depend on the service address and customer status. Before signing up, request the recurring internet rate after promotions, any WiFi or equipment charges, applicable taxes or activation fees, and the mobile charges that begin when bill credits end. Spectrum says it does not require annual contracts, but that does not keep a promotional price in place.

Account for every mobile line
Spectrum lists additional-line monthly prices of $30 for Unlimited, $40 for Unlimited Plus and $50 for Unlimited Plus Premium on its offer page. Existing Spectrum Internet customers can add mobile lines and Advanced WiFi, but Spectrum says available deals vary by location and current plan. Do not treat the $1,000 guarantee as automatic savings
Spectrum’s $1,000 Savings Guarantee has eligibility, documentation and service requirements. New customers must have Internet 100 or higher and at least two paid Unlimited Mobile lines; existing internet customers must switch at least two mobile lines. Eligible competitor bills must be submitted within 60 days, and the comparison is limited to Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T. You must keep service for a full year or forfeit remaining credits. If Spectrum calculates savings below $1,000 against comparable services, it says it will issue the difference as monthly bill credits over one year. What internet service and speeds can you get?
Spectrum calls its network “Fiber-Powered,” but that does not mean fiber reaches every home. Spectrum says its network combines fiber and HFC infrastructure, with 100% fiber service available only in select areas. Spectrum One starts at 100 Mbps, while speeds up to 7 Gbps are available in select areas; actual speeds vary and are not guaranteed. Unlimited does not mean unlimited high-speed data
For the Unlimited service in the offer, Spectrum states that cellular speeds may slow during high-demand periods after 30 GB of cellular data, and hotspot speeds are reduced after 5 GB. These are separate cellular and hotspot thresholds. Spectrum’s plan comparison gives additional details for different tiers, so check the exact terms for Unlimited, Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Plus Premium rather than assuming they share identical allowances or slowdowns. WiFi enhancements have eligibility conditions
Advanced WiFi is the bundle’s home WiFi component. Invincible WiFi adds a 5G backup connection on eligible plans, with availability and qualifying plans varying. Spectrum Speed Boost is described as improving connections for qualifying Spectrum Mobile devices connected to Advanced WiFi, but device exclusions apply. Treat these as conditional features, not a guarantee of uninterrupted service or faster performance for every device.

How to decide whether Spectrum One is worth it
Compare the same household needs over the promotional period and the following year. A low introductory bill can still cost more overall if the post-promotion internet rate, extra lines or data limits do not suit your household.

- Count all mobile lines. Include the first line’s price after its bill credits end, every additional line, and any device purchase or financing.
- Match service to usage. Compare cellular and hotspot allowances, international needs, and any plan-tier differences against how your household actually uses its phones.
- Calculate two periods. Add the total household cost during the promotion and for the next 12 months after credits end. Compare both totals with your current providers or another like-for-like option.
- Review conditions before switching. If relying on the savings guarantee, verify line-count rules, eligible competitors, bill-submission timing and the full-year service requirement.
Spectrum One is most compelling when the address-specific internet offer remains competitive after the mobile credit ends and the included line plus any paid lines fit your household’s needs. If the later internet rate rises, you need several additional lines, or your usage exceeds the plan’s high-speed data thresholds, the introductory price alone is not a good measure of value.
