There is no proven overall winner between Spaceship and Hostinger. Spaceship may suit buyers who want annual shared-hosting plans and a named choice of server locations; Hostinger may suit those who value managed WordPress-oriented tools, daily backups on higher tiers, and a provider-handled migration offer. The displayed prices use different locales and payment periods, so neither is a fair price winner without comparing equivalent checkout terms.

Spaceship vs Hostinger at a glance

Factor Spaceship Hostinger
Pricing snapshot Singapore-localized page: annual rates after a 30-day trial, with separate annual renewal prices. Discounts apply to annual and biennial plans, not renewal. Spaceship plan page Official page snapshot: 48-month prepaid offers shown as monthly equivalents, with higher monthly renewal rates. Check your locale and cart. Hostinger plan page
Migration Free migration tool, but the customer performs the account transfer; support guidance is available. Spaceship plan page Hostinger advertises free unlimited migration with no downtime, including automatic requests through hPanel or manual transfer. This is the provider’s claim, not an independent test. Hostinger plan page
Backups Automatic-backup terms and possible extra cost should be checked for the chosen plan. TechRadar Spaceship review Premium lists weekly backups; Unlimited lists daily backups and restore; Cloud Startup lists daily and on-demand backups. Hostinger plan page
Named locations Phoenix, Arizona; the Netherlands; Singapore; and Farnborough, UK, with a location selector. Spaceship plan page A directly comparable current selectable-location list was not established by the reviewed page. Confirm the locations available at checkout. Hostinger plan page
Performance evidence TechRadar reports a 99.99% uptime guarantee, not an independently measured uptime result. TechRadar Spaceship review TechRadar measured 99.96% uptime on its test site during a 10-week test in 2026; this is not a guarantee for every customer. TechRadar Hostinger review

The performance figures are different kinds of evidence: one is a reviewer’s report of a guarantee and the other is a time-limited measurement on a test site. They do not establish which service is faster or more reliable for your site.

Which plans and prices are listed?

The following figures are the providers’ displayed offers on pages reviewed October 7, 2026. Spaceship’s page is localized for Singapore and gives annual prices after a 30-day trial; Hostinger’s page shows 48-month prepaid totals and monthly equivalents. Currency and checkout terms may differ by locale, so treat these as snapshots rather than a like-for-like price comparison.

Spaceship shared hosting

Plan After-trial price and renewal Listed resources and inclusions
Essential $19.88/year after the 30-day trial; renews at $28.88/year One CPU, 20 GB storage, five hosted domains, unlimited websites, SSL, five mailboxes per domain free for one year, Imunify360 protection, and a website builder.
Pro $28.88/year after the 30-day trial; renews at $48.88/year Two CPUs, 50 GB storage, unlimited hosted domains and websites, SSL, five mailboxes per domain free for one year, Imunify360, website builder, and WordPress AI tools.
Supreme $38.88/year after the 30-day trial; renews at $68.88/year Four CPUs, unmetered storage, unlimited hosted domains and websites, SSL, five mailboxes per domain free for one year, Imunify360, website builder, and WordPress AI tools. Unmetered disk space is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy.

Spaceship describes these as shared hosting: server resources are shared among customers. Its shared-server cloud storage architecture does not make the service cloud hosting. The page lists five free SSL certificates for Essential and unlimited SSL certificates for Pro and Supreme. Free Spacemail lasts one year. See Spaceship’s localized plan terms.

Hostinger plans

Plan 48-month offer and renewal Listed resources and inclusions
Premium $2.99/month equivalent for 48 months, $143.52 paid upfront; renews at $10.99/month Three websites, 20 GB SSD storage, a domain free for one year, weekly backups, CDN, and two mailboxes per website free for one year.
Unlimited $3.99/month equivalent for 48 months, $191.52 paid upfront; renews at $16.99/month Unlimited websites, 50 GB NVMe storage, daily backups and restore, CDN, and unlimited mailboxes per website free for one year.
Cloud Startup $7.99/month equivalent for 48 months, $383.52 paid upfront; renews at $25.99/month Unlimited websites, 100 GB NVMe storage, daily and on-demand backups, and CDN.

The monthly equivalent divides the 48-month upfront total by the number of months; it is not a month-to-month price. Hostinger also advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee and 24/7 multilingual support on the reviewed page. Check Hostinger’s current plans and terms.

Which host is cheaper after renewal?

The listed figures cannot establish a fair overall price winner: Spaceship’s snapshot is annual pricing on a Singapore-localized page, while Hostinger’s is a 48-month prepaid offer. Compare the full first payment and the renewal charge for the same intended period, currency, and checkout locale. Include any email, backup, or other add-on costs that apply to your needs; a low introductory equivalent may not represent your continuing cost.

  1. Choose the same hosting type and an equivalent subscription period in each provider’s checkout.
  2. Record the full amount due now, the term it covers, the renewal amount, and renewal cadence.
  3. Check whether the number of sites, domains, storage, email, SSL, and backup schedule cover your requirements.
  4. Confirm any optional charges and the final price in your own locale before paying.

Which is better for WordPress?

Both can be considered for a WordPress site, but the available plan details point to different priorities. Spaceship’s Pro and Supreme listings include WordPress AI tools, while its plans list a website builder and shared hosting. Hostinger describes its hosting as managed, uses LiteSpeed, and offers upgrades to cloud or VPS hosting; it lists daily backups on Unlimited and Cloud Startup. Those features do not by themselves prove a performance advantage.

Choose by the actual needs of your WordPress site: how many sites you will host, the backup schedule you need, storage and resource limits, and whether you are comfortable handling a migration. Hostinger’s reviewed listing does not make every listed backup feature available on Premium, so compare the specific tier rather than the brand name.

How do migration and support compare?

Spaceship provides a free tool, but says customers perform their own hosting-account transfers, with support guidance available. Its September 2026 update describes partial migration for selected websites, databases, files, and folders. Hostinger advertises free unlimited website migration with no downtime and offers automatic requests through hPanel or manual transfer. That promise is Hostinger’s own description, not a verified result for every site or migration.

The practical difference is who does more of the transfer work: Spaceship puts the account transfer on the customer, whereas Hostinger advertises a provider-assisted option. Before moving a live site, confirm what content is covered, whether email and DNS are included, and what steps you must complete. Hostinger lists 24/7 multilingual support; the reviewed Spaceship page does not establish a directly comparable support-hours specification.

How should server location affect the choice?

Spaceship’s cited page names data centers in Phoenix, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Farnborough, UK, and says customers can use a location selector. The reviewed Hostinger page does not establish a comparable current list of selectable locations. If your visitors are concentrated in a particular region, check which location is actually selectable for the plan and locale you intend to buy rather than assuming the two providers offer equivalent choices.

What does the performance evidence show?

There is no matched, independently run Spaceship-versus-Hostinger test in the available evidence. TechRadar reports that its Hostinger test site recorded 99.96% uptime during a 10-week test in 2026; that result belongs to that test site and period. TechRadar’s Hostinger review separately describes Spaceship’s 99.99% uptime guarantee and says it did not find an explicit account of compensation if the guarantee is missed. That is a reviewer’s report of a guarantee, not a measurement of Spaceship uptime. TechRadar’s Spaceship review.

Which host should you choose?

  • Consider Spaceship if its annual plan terms, named server locations, and site/domain allowances fit your project, and you are willing to perform the account transfer yourself.
  • Consider Hostinger if its long prepaid term is acceptable and you want the listed managed-hosting features, daily backups on higher tiers, or its advertised migration service.
  • Pause before choosing either if your decision depends on a directly comparable performance result, an unverified server location, or an all-in renewal cost. The cited evidence does not resolve those points for every buyer.

For either host, compare the plan’s renewal amount and included services against your requirements at checkout. The deciding factors are likely to be the full-term cost, backup and email terms, migration effort, and server location—not an unsubstantiated claim that one is universally faster.
