Pocket Gamer’s Soul Strike tier list, updated September 3, 2026 for version 3.2.6, places Charlotte and a broad roster of other characters in S tier. Treat it as an unofficial shortlist, not a universal verdict: the guide is based on its author’s experience and community information, and it does not rank characters separately for each game mode.
How to read the Soul Strike tier list
Pocket Gamer’s list ranks characters in three tiers. It says S-tier characters can carry players through every stage, while A-tier characters can cover much of the game but rely more on team synergy. B tier indicates weaker relative choices, not characters that are unusable. The guide does not publish a reproducible scoring rubric, character-by-character test protocol, matchup table, or performance statistics, so its placements are best used to narrow your options rather than settle every team decision. Choose for your team and the mode you play
Use the tiers as a starting shortlist, then weigh synergy with your existing team and the content you want to play. The list is broad rather than mode-specific. Com2uS has described a companion arena PvP mode with six competitive league tiers in its 1.5-year anniversary update announcement; that confirms a distinct competitive context, not current character balance. A general tier placement should not be treated as a definitive PvP-versus-progression recommendation.

Check the exact character form
Some names appear in more than one tier or may refer to different forms or elements. For example, Howard, Chocolat, Zeros, and Eve have duplicate-looking entries in the list. Confirm the in-game form before applying a placement to a specific character. The page also spells some names as “Roy Mustand” and “Versper”; check the in-game roster rather than assuming those spellings identify the form you have.

This is one general ranking, updated September 3, 2026 for version 3.2.6, rather than an official or universally applicable ranking. Pocket Gamer attributes its judgments to the author’s personal experience and information from the community, and cautions that no tier list is absolute. The page reports no win rates, pick rates, damage comparisons, or other character performance statistics. Use its placements as orientation, not as proof that a character will outperform another in every team or mode.
