The October 20, 2026 ordering deadline applies to timed-edition prints from 35 Years of Speed: The Sonic Art Exhibit—not to every Sonic 35th-anniversary release. A September 29 report from SEGAbits, attributing the announcement to iam8bit, says the prints can be ordered through that date. iam8bit’s official collection lists the artwork, but does not show the cutoff, so check the exact product page for its current price and ordering status before buying.
What Sonic 35th-anniversary releases are available until October 20?
The deadline is reported for timed-edition prints from 35 Years of Speed: The Sonic Art Exhibit. SEGAbits reported on September 29, 2026 that each print’s timed edition would be available to order through October 20. It is not a general end date for Sonic’s anniversary merchandise or events. Read SEGAbits’ report on the print window.
The official iam8bit Sonic 35th Art Show collection lists timed-edition prints, other art prints, and original artwork. Examples feature Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Metal Sonic, and other characters and themes. The live collection includes item-level prices and availability labels; some works are marked sold out.
Where can you order the prints, and what do they cost?
iam8bit is the verified retailer for this collection. SEGAbits reported announced starting prices of $15 for prints and $40 for original works. Those are price floors, not prices for every item: individual listings have different prices, and current stock can vary.

How certain is the October 20 deadline?
The date comes from SEGAbits’ September 29, 2026 report of an iam8bit announcement. The official iam8bit collection confirms the Sonic art listings, but does not independently display October 20 as a cutoff. Because the date is reported for timed editions specifically, use each live product listing to check whether ordering remains open rather than treating the date as a guarantee for every item.

Why is Sonic celebrating 35 years in 2026?
SEGA says Sonic the Hedgehog debuted in a 1991 game and identifies 2026 as the franchise’s 35th anniversary. The company reports more than 1.77 billion cumulative full-game and free-to-play units for the series. SEGA’s anniversary announcement gives that figure.
Other anniversary releases and activities have separate schedules. SEGA announced Forever Fast – 35th Anniversary of Sonic The Hedgehog, a two-CD compilation with 22 tracks, for June 24, 2026, at ¥3,500 including tax. That music release is not governed by the art-print deadline. SEGA also announced Tokyo Metro collaboration activities and an Ikebukuro PARCO exhibition scheduled for October 9 through November 1, 2026—again, separate from the print ordering window.
