How to choose a weapon for your account
1. Pick the hunter or team first
Check whether a candidate is the intended hunter’s default weapon. Pocket Gamer says equipping a hunter with their default weapon makes that hunter stronger, and recommends considering a top hunter’s weapon as well. The guide does not quantify a universal damage increase, so compare the in-game weapon and hunter descriptions rather than assuming a particular percentage.
2. Match the weapon to your build
Netmarble describes combat as creating play styles by selecting combinations of skills and weapons. Consider how the weapon fits the skills and team you actually plan to use. A tier label alone cannot establish that a weapon is best for every combination or game mode.

3. Check the current in-game details before spending
Before committing draw resources, inspect the weapon’s current description and availability in the game. A tier list’s date and version matter: it is a snapshot, while the game can change through new releases and balance adjustments.
4. Separate ranking from resource efficiency
The cited tier list offers rankings and Custom Draw priorities, but does not establish a complete resource-efficiency comparison for every account, advancement level, or game mode. Use its recommendations to narrow your options, then make the final choice around your roster and intended build.

Why older weapon advice may no longer apply
Netmarble’s August 27, 2026 update announced the Sung Jinwoo-exclusive SSR weapon Spirit Blade: Snowstorm and said that select Sung Jinwoo weapons, hunters, and artifact set effects received balance adjustments. Pocket Gamer’s cited tier list followed on September 2 and is labeled version 1.4.46. Because that ranking is tied to a specific version, check for a later official update and current in-game details if you are making a decision after that snapshot.
Optional weapon lookup tools
AriseTools describes itself as a companion resource with a searchable database for weapons, hunters, shadows, artifacts, skills, and stats, as well as calculators, guides, and a tier list. It states that it is not affiliated with Netmarble, Netmarble Neo, or D&C Media. Treat it as an unofficial reference, not an official source for game balance or availability.
