Tactical Adventures released “Hotfix #3 – v0.4.4.114967” on October 1, 2026. Its notes cover fixes to combat, quests, multiplayer, crashes, the interface and localization. The developer also lists issues that remain and says this is likely to be among the last hotfixes before work returns to Early Access Update #2—a tentative plan, not a release-date promise.
What Hotfix #3 changes
The official Hotfix #3 changelist groups a wide set of corrections across the game. These are fixes reported by the developer; the notes do not establish that every instance of each problem is gone.

Combat, characters and spells
- Clicking a character’s portrait in the initiative bar now focuses that character even when it is not their turn, and the camera should follow combat action properly.
- The Giant Crab Clacker’s Inky Spit attack is fixed. Ilias’s weapon and animation mismatch and combat readiness are addressed; the notes also specify that he attacks twice per turn and has shield bash. Landry should no longer use a sword to shoot arrows.
- Turn Undead conditions should clear when an affected target takes damage. Mana Painter Sorcerers can no longer use Mana Drain on allies.
- The notes address a reported stat reset when multiclassing beyond level 1 in a secondary class. The developer asks players to report any other cases that remain.
- More cases of enemy turns failing to end after opportunity attacks are fixed. Other combat corrections cover a temporary end-turn button disable after damage, characters remaining prone after combat, the wrong Back button at combat start, the metallic sound when preparing a punch, Cleave Weapon Mastery for non-hosts, and lending pact weapons.
- Weapon masteries that became unchangeable for some characters after two rests are addressed.
Quests, progression and interface
- Fast travel to the Shrine to Arun from Tamesh Camp is fixed, as is recruiting Sethina after fast-traveling to the tavern in Caer Mar.
- An unintended tutorial rest before the Kobold fight is corrected, along with a tutorial disruption caused by rapidly pressing Short Rest at a particular point.
- The character creator’s inner iris size, which a previous hotfix had broken, is fixed. An invisible Scar #2 icon is also addressed.
- Autoprepared spells can be used again. Two Siklas Witch dialogue and party-reference errors are corrected.
- Contextual actions, including stabilizing an ally, should appear and work properly. Authentic Difficulty component options now default on.
- Map unveiling is fixed for parts of Siklas Temple, Lion’s Den and Caer Mar. A lexicon window should no longer remain visible during an automated cutscene, and clicking inventory during a companion’s turn should no longer open a debug screen.
Multiplayer and camera fixes
- Non-host combat logs should show vulnerability and resistance, and non-host quest lists are capped at three entries on screen. The update also reduces character jitter.
- Several non-host combat and action issues, blocker cases and camera problems are addressed. These include a stealth ranged attack sometimes consuming all movement on a character’s first turn and a non-host being sent far away after a World Map Event.
- Camera corrections cover the host camera mis-following after a non-host activates a lantern during indirect control or lands a final blow. Pushing Deorcas out of her shield during the tutorial is also fixed.
- Other multiplayer-specific fixes address Cleave Weapon Mastery for non-hosts, a rare Lion’s Den blocker, and a crash for non-hosts when reloading a multiplayer save during a cutscene.
- The notes also address a rare Random Encounter exit crash and crashes caused by quick-saving or quick-loading while an enemy is highlighted. Simultaneous host and non-host Long Rest activation within one frame is fixed.
Visual effects, sound and localization
- Spell visual effects should no longer appear to non-hosts during cutscenes.
- Localization corrections cover Spanish Kivuli name tags and climbing text, English weapon-configuration loading-screen tags, Russian Paladin character-creation tags, missing tutorial and cleric spell-list strings, and Exhaustion text.
Known issues still listed by the developer
The same official notes retain the following issues. The wording matters: some are described as occasional or rare, and the Nvidia report is attributed to players rather than presented as a confirmed cause.

What Tactical Adventures says comes next
The article says this is likely to be one of the last hotfixes before the team returns to focusing on its next major release, Early Access Update #2. “Likely” is the developer’s qualification: the statement gives no release date and does not rule out another hotfix.

How to report a remaining bug
Tactical Adventures directs players to its support page to send a ticket; the developer says no account is needed. Include the situation in which the issue occurred, whether you were host or non-host in multiplayer, and any steps that reliably reproduce it, so the report can identify the relevant scenario.
