The Dimensity 9400e leads the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the AnTuTu and Geekbench scores reported by 91mobiles. Those figures do not guarantee that every phone using the MediaTek chip will outperform every Snapdragon phone: cooling, power limits, memory, software and test conditions all matter. For a buying decision, compare the specific handset models as well as their processors.
How the benchmark results compare
91mobiles’ comparison page, accessed October 7, 2026, reports higher scores for the Dimensity 9400e in all three listed results:

| Benchmark | Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 | Dimensity 9400e |
|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu | 1,815,619 | 2,125,733 |
| Geekbench single-core | 2,003 | 2,219 |
| Geekbench multi-core | 5,094 | 7,308 |
These are the figures displayed by 91mobiles, not universal specifications or guaranteed scores for every handset. The comparison does not establish a sufficiently detailed, lab-controlled common test setup to treat the results as a definitive head-to-head measurement. AnTuTu versions and phone configurations can also affect scores; the page’s component subscores may differ even when the overall score favors one chip.

What the specifications say
| Feature | Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 | Dimensity 9400e |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Eight cores: one Cortex-X4, four Cortex-A720 and three Cortex-A520, according to 91mobiles; Qualcomm lists clocks up to 3 GHz. | Eight cores: one Cortex-X4 up to 3.4 GHz, three Cortex-X4 up to 2.85 GHz and four Cortex-A720 up to 2.0 GHz, according to MediaTek. |
| GPU | Adreno GPU; 91mobiles identifies it as Adreno 735. | Arm Immortalis-G720 MC12. |
| Process | 4 nm, per Qualcomm. | Third-generation TSMC 4 nm, per MediaTek. |
| Memory and storage | 91mobiles lists LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0; Qualcomm’s surfaced product overview does not specify these details. | LPDDR5X or LPDDR5T, memory frequency up to 9600 Mbps, and UFS 4 with MCQ, per MediaTek. |
| Connectivity | Qualcomm lists the Snapdragon X70 modem-RF and Wi-Fi 7 support. | MediaTek lists sub-6 GHz 5G, Wi-Fi 7 tri-band concurrency, Bluetooth 6.0 and Wi-Fi data rates up to 7.3 Gbps. |
| Imaging and display | Qualcomm lists an 18-bit ISP; 91mobiles lists support for camera sensors up to 200 MP and UHD video at 60 fps. | MediaTek lists an 18-bit RAW ISP, sensor support up to 320 MP, video up to 8K at 30 fps or 4K at 60 fps, and displays up to WQHD at 180 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz. |
These figures describe platform capabilities, not necessarily what a phone maker includes or enables. For example, a chip’s maximum camera-sensor or display support does not establish the quality of a handset’s camera or screen. The 4 nm process labels also do not, by themselves, prove which chip is more efficient.

CPU design, graphics and gaming
CPU workloads
The Dimensity 9400e has four Cortex-X4 cores and four Cortex-A720 cores; the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 uses one Cortex-X4, four Cortex-A720 cores and three Cortex-A520 cores, according to 91mobiles’ comparison. The MediaTek chip’s listed top Cortex-X4 clock is 3.4 GHz, while Qualcomm’s official overview gives a maximum CPU clock of 3 GHz. Those layouts help explain why benchmark results may differ, but core names and peak clocks alone do not predict power use or sustained speed.
Gaming and sustained performance
The reported scores favor the Dimensity 9400e, but they are not a substitute for matched gaming tests. A game’s frame rate and consistency also depend on the GPU, game-specific drivers, phone cooling and power limits. A handset may perform well in a short benchmark but throttle during a longer gaming session; compare sustained performance under the same game and conditions when that evidence is available.

Platform features and vendor claims
Qualcomm’s official overview lists a Snapdragon X70 modem-RF, an 18-bit ISP, Quick Charge 5 support and a 4 nm process. These are platform-level features: a phone’s charging implementation and supported network bands still depend on its manufacturer and market.

Its platform information lists features including hardware ray tracing, Wi-Fi 7 tri-band concurrency, Bluetooth 6.0 and MFRC 2.0+. MediaTek says MFRC 2.0+ “can reduce power consumption by up to 40% when enabled.” That is a conditional vendor claim, not a general or independently established battery-life result; it should not be read as a promise that a 9400e phone lasts 40% longer.

Which phones use these chips?
91mobiles’ comparison names the realme GT 7 as a Dimensity 9400e phone and the vivo V70 Elite as a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 phone. These examples connect the chip names to actual models, but availability and regional variants should be checked where you plan to buy. A processor comparison cannot establish either phone’s price, current stock or full handset performance.
How to choose between two phones
Use the processor results as one part of the decision, then compare the complete models on the factors that affect daily use:
- Sustained speed: Look for comparable long-duration gaming or workload tests, not only a short peak benchmark.
- Battery and charging: Check handset-level battery tests and the charging specification for the exact model and region.
- Camera: Compare sensor hardware and real image processing; platform megapixel limits do not rate photo quality.
- Display and configuration: Verify the actual panel, refresh rate, memory and storage in the variant for sale.
- Software support: Check the manufacturer’s update policy for that model.
- Practical fit: Confirm local price, availability and carrier network-band compatibility.
On the available comparison, the Dimensity 9400e is ahead in the displayed benchmark results. Whether that makes a particular phone the better buy depends on the handset-level factors above.
