The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and Dimensity 6360 Max differ in their documented process, CPU layout and graphics hardware, but the available benchmark figures do not establish a controlled performance winner. Qualcomm lists Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 as a 4 nm platform; 91mobiles reports the Dimensity 6360 Max as 6 nm and publishes scores for that chip, but no matched Snapdragon results are available from the same source and conditions.
Specifications at a glance
| Specification | Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 | Dimensity 6360 Max |
|---|---|---|
| Process | 4 nm, according to Qualcomm | 6 nm, as reported by 91mobiles; this is a secondary-source specification |
| CPU | 64-bit Qualcomm Kryo; 2.4 GHz version, with the Accelerated Edition reaching up to 2.5 GHz | Eight cores: 2 Cortex-A76 at 2.4 GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 at 2.0 GHz, according to 91mobiles |
| GPU | Qualcomm Adreno; listed support includes OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.0 FP and Vulkan 1.1 | Mali-G57 MC2, reported at 1.072 GHz by 91mobiles |
| 5G modem and peak download claim | Snapdragon X62 5G modem-RF; Qualcomm lists peak download up to 4.4 Gbps | 91mobiles lists 5G and peak download up to 3.3 Gbps |
| Published benchmark figures | No matched result established in the cited sources | 91mobiles reports AnTuTu 651,333 and Geekbench 6 scores of 784 single-core and 2,042 multi-core |
Qualcomm notes that Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 CPU speed varies by platform version and says to consult the phone maker’s specifications for the device’s CPU speed. The 2.5 GHz figure therefore applies to the Accelerated Edition, not necessarily every phone using Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.

What the CPU and process specifications tell you
Different core configurations
The Dimensity 6360 Max listing specifies two higher-performance Cortex-A76 cores and six efficiency-oriented Cortex-A55 cores. Qualcomm identifies a 64-bit Kryo CPU for Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, but the product specification page cited here does not provide an equivalent core-by-core layout in the comparison evidence. Core names and clock rates alone do not predict how quickly a particular phone will complete an app or sustain heavy work.

The listed process figures are 4 nm for Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and 6 nm for Dimensity 6360 Max. A smaller process number does not, by itself, prove that one chip is faster or more efficient in an actual phone: device design, cooling, software and workload also matter. The Dimensity figure is attributed to 91mobiles rather than an accessible official MediaTek product page.

GPU and connectivity claims need context
Graphics hardware
The cited listings identify an Adreno GPU in Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and a Mali-G57 MC2 in Dimensity 6360 Max. Qualcomm lists graphics API support for OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.0 FP and Vulkan 1.1. These names and API listings describe hardware and supported interfaces; they are not a direct gaming test or evidence of which chip delivers higher frame rates.
Qualcomm advertises over 20% faster graphics rendering for Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 compared with its previous generation. That is Qualcomm’s generational claim, not a comparison with Dimensity 6360 Max.

Peak 5G download figures
The listed peak download figures—up to 4.4 Gbps for Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and up to 3.3 Gbps for Dimensity 6360 Max—are platform or database specifications, not measured speeds on a shared network. Actual connectivity depends on the phone’s modem implementation, supported bands, carrier network, location and other conditions.

How to read the Dimensity 6360 Max benchmarks
91mobiles reports an AnTuTu score of 651,333, describing it as the highest score it recorded for a device running Dimensity 6360 Max. Its listed AnTuTu components are CPU 233,318, GPU 47,794, memory 179,323 and UX 190,898. The same page gives Geekbench 6 scores of 784 single-core and 2,042 multi-core. 91mobiles says these figures come from real-world testing of devices using the chip, so they are publisher- and device-specific results, not guaranteed scores for every Dimensity 6360 Max phone.

These numbers cannot establish a head-to-head winner without Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 results gathered with the same benchmark version, device configuration, software, thermal state and test conditions. Those matched results are not provided by the cited source. Comparing unrelated phone scores or results from different test versions would risk attributing device or test differences to the processor.
Which phones use Dimensity 6360 Max?
91mobiles lists OPPO F35 5G, OPPO F33 Pro 5G, OPPO F33 5G and OPPO K15s 5G as examples of phones powered by Dimensity 6360 Max. That listing does not independently establish current availability, sales status or the exact regional variant of each model. When comparing phones, confirm the chipset and specifications for the precise model and market you are considering.
How to choose between phones using these chips
The chip specifications are useful for narrowing a comparison, but a purchase decision should be based on the actual handset. Check the exact chipset version, memory configuration, cooling design, software and the phone’s own benchmark or gaming results. If two specific phones are available to you, compare tests performed on those devices under similar conditions rather than treating a chip-level specification or isolated score as a complete verdict.
