To get a horse in Slayers 2, follow the server’s horse-spawn alert, reach the named area, interact with the horse using the on-screen prompt (fan guides report T), finish the timing challenge, and pay the reported 15,000 Wen. Then equip the Horse item from your inventory on your hotbar and use that slot to ride. The game’s horse mechanics are documented here by fan guides rather than official developer instructions, so follow the live in-game prompts if they differ.
How to unlock and equip a horse
- Save 15,000 Wen. Fan guides report this as the horse’s price. Completing the taming challenge does not necessarily complete the purchase: accept the separate purchase prompt and pay when it appears. Slayers 2 Roblox Wiki and Slayers 2 Wiki report the price.
- Watch for the server alert. When a horse-spawn message appears, travel to the location it names. Guides mention areas including Bamboo Grove and Windy Peak, but the live alert is the better guide than any fixed location list.
- Interact and complete the challenge. Stand beside the horse and use the prompt; fan guides report pressing or holding T. In the timing minigame, align the rings and follow the prompts until the progress meter reaches 100%. One guide reports losing 10 HP after a mistimed attempt, so begin with enough health to absorb a possible penalty.
- Pay when prompted. Have the reported 15,000 Wen available. A fan guide says the spawn is not reserved if you need to leave and earn more, so another player may get to it first.
- Put the Horse item on your hotbar. Check your inventory after purchase, assign the Horse item to a hotbar slot, and use that slot to mount. The exact slot depends on how you arrange your interface.
Where horses spawn and how often
Fan guides describe shared horse spawns around towns, including Bamboo Grove and Windy Peak. They report intervals ranging from about 20–30 minutes to roughly 30 minutes, but these are observations, not a guaranteed schedule. Wait for the server message and go to the place it names; relying on a countdown or repeatedly checking one location can send you to the wrong place. Because the spawn is described as shared, another player may reach or interact with the horse before you do. Slayers 2 Roblox Wiki and Slayers 2 Wiki give the approximate timing.

Riding versus map and fast travel
The horse is a ground-travel mount, useful for journeys between towns, trainers, bosses, and farming routes. It does not replace the Book of Guidance quest: fan guides say the Book of Guidance, also described in connection with Lost Pages, unlocks the map and fast-travel navigation. Riding helps with travel on the ground; the quest enables separate navigation options. Slayers 2 Wiki describes the navigation unlock.

Fix common horse problems
- No alert has appeared: Wait for the server message. The reported 20–30-minute or roughly 30-minute cycle is approximate, not a reliable timer.
- You saw an alert but cannot find the horse: Search the area named in that message. The spawn is reported as shared, so another player may already have reached or interacted with it.
- The timing challenge fails: Align the rings before clicking and continue until the meter reaches 100%. A fan guide reports a 10 HP loss for a mistimed attempt.
- The Horse item is missing: Check that you accepted the purchase prompt and had the reported 15,000 Wen available. Completing the minigame alone may not mean the purchase went through.
- The map is blank: Work through the Book of Guidance/Lost Pages quest described by the fan guide. Owning a horse does not itself unlock the map or fast travel.
Should you buy the Horse Spawn Locator?
Fan guides report an optional Horse Spawn Locator gamepass priced at 120 Robux, but their descriptions of what it does are inconsistent; one says the pass description does not explicitly confirm its function. Check the current in-game purchase page for a clear description before spending Robux. If you can follow server alerts and travel to the named area, you can search manually instead. Slayers 2 Roblox Wiki and Slayers 2 Wiki report the pass price.
