Where to find Betty and start the quest
Betty stands on a grassy raised ledge above the river or waterfall in Bamboo Grove. Published walkthroughs identify level 10 as the quest requirement. Speak to her there and accept the Gemstone objective before searching; one walkthrough describes it as finding one Gemstone.

How to reach the Gemstone
- From Betty’s ledge, drop down to the river.
- Follow the river past the red bridge or red torii gate. Continue toward the rocky bank or corner.
- Dive to the riverbed and inspect the submerged rock face or slab nearby.
- Approach the crystal until the interaction prompt appears, then press T, as reported by the walkthroughs.
- Check the quest tracker for an update. If it does not show completion, return to Betty and interact with her.
What to do if it does not register
- No prompt appears: Search along the riverbed by the submerged rock wall or slab rather than swimming only at the surface.
- The tracker has not updated: Make sure the quest was accepted, approach the crystal closely enough for its prompt, and use the indicated interaction.
- The objective remains active after pickup: Go back to Betty and check whether she needs to complete the quest dialogue.
Quest completion and rewards
Walkthroughs disagree about whether collecting the Gemstone completes the quest immediately or whether you must return to Betty. They also report different rewards, including different experience and Wen totals and a Health Potion. Because those accounts do not establish one consistent payout or completion sequence, use the live quest tracker and Betty’s interaction in your game rather than relying on a particular reward figure.
