SkyCount is an unofficial Android scorekeeping companion for physical games of classic Skyjo. Its Google Play listing says it tracks games for 2–8 players, records round scores and cumulative standings, and works offline without an account. You still need the physical card game; the app does not replace the cards or claim to enforce the rules.
What SkyCount does during a Skyjo game
According to its Google Play listing, SkyCount lets a group enter scores for 2–8 players, set player names and turn order, and choose a target score. It displays standings according to classic Skyjo’s lowest-total-wins scoring, along with a round-by-round chart and gaps between players.

Players can edit scores and undo the latest round, and the app keeps a local history of completed games. Those are listed features, not independently tested results. The listing describes SkyCount as a scorekeeper; it does not say the app automates turns, checks whether a move follows the rules, or syncs games between devices.

In classic Skyjo, each player has 12 cards arranged in four columns of three. Players start with two cards face up. On a turn, a player may take the top discard and exchange it with a card in their display, or draw from the face-down pile and either exchange that card or discard it and reveal one of their hidden cards. Magilano’s official product page describes the aim as collecting as few points as possible.

A round ends when a player reveals all their cards; each other player then takes one final turn. Players total the values of the cards left in their displays and add those amounts to their cumulative scores. The game ends when someone reaches 100 points or more, and the player with the fewest points wins, according to Magilano’s classic rules. Keeping a running total matters because scores accumulate across rounds, and low or negative card values affect the tally.
With SkyCount, the group enters each round’s scores instead of relying on mental arithmetic or a paper score sheet. The listing says the app shows standings as play continues and retains completed-game history locally. The players still need to agree on the scores and enter them correctly.

Offline use, saved data, and privacy disclosures
The Google Play listing says SkyCount works without an internet connection or account, and that saved game data stays on the device and can be deleted from within the app. It also says the app has no ads or analytics. Google Play’s data-safety panel shows the developer’s declarations that no data is collected or shared with third parties. These are developer-provided listing disclosures, not the findings of an independent privacy audit.
What you need to play
SkyCount tracks scores; it does not supply or simulate the physical game. Magilano lists classic SKYJO for 2–8 players, ages 8 and up, with an approximate playing time of 30 minutes. The listed package includes 150 playing cards, a 100-page game pad, and instructions. These are publisher specifications and may vary by edition or region.
