One important drawback: Skullcandy says this model does not connect to its app.

Skullcandy lists the Push Play Active as true wireless in-ear earbuds with 6 mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.3, a 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, and a listed product weight of 67 g. The UK product listing says the box includes a charging case, S/M/L ear gels, a USB-C cable, and guides. The flexible over-ear hangers distinguish the design from ordinary earbuds that rely only on an in-ear seal.

That design may appeal if you prefer a physical support point around the ear for exercise. It does not guarantee a comfortable or secure fit for every ear shape; fit is personal, and the available specifications cannot establish how well the hangers work in practice.

On paper, it is clearly intended for exercise: it has over-ear hangers and an IP55 rating. Skullcandy describes the rating as sweat, dust, and water resistance, and recommends drying the earbuds before returning them to the case. IP55 should not be read as waterproof or as approval for swimming or submersion.

The UK product listing markets the earbuds as made for “any active lifestyle, any weather and any condition.” That is the manufacturer’s positioning, not evidence that they withstand every environment. If you need proof of how they stay in place during running, how comfortable they are over a full workout, or how they hold up over time, the listed specifications alone cannot answer that.
Battery life and charging
Skullcandy claims up to 10 hours of playback from the earbuds on a charge, with up to 24 additional hours available from the case, for 34 hours total. It also says a 10-minute charge provides 2+ hours of playtime. These are manufacturer figures, not independently measured results; actual playback time has not been established here.

Controls, modes, and app support
The official support FAQ lists touch controls, three EQ presets—Music, Bass Boost, and Podcast—Stay-Aware Mode, voice-assistant access, and Solo Mode, which lets you use either earbud on its own. The FAQ also says the model does not connect to the Skullcandy app. The presets are therefore the documented EQ choices; app-based customization is not available for this model according to Skullcandy’s support information.

Bluetooth and switching devices
Push Play Active uses Bluetooth 5.3 and supports multipoint connection to two paired devices. Skullcandy’s FAQ clarifies that multipoint does not mean simultaneous playback: starting audio on one device pauses the stream on the other when you switch.

Skullcandy describes a Clear Voice Smart Mic that uses a microphone and AI software to isolate speech and reduce background noise. That is a feature description from the manufacturer, not an independent finding about how clearly calls sound in quiet or noisy places.
What customer feedback can—and cannot—tell you
When accessed, Skullcandy’s UK product page showed 3.68/5 from 444 customer reviews. Its summary described positive sound and battery themes alongside mixed comments about fit and controls; individual excerpts included both fit praise and complaints about fit or charging. This is a retailer-hosted customer-review aggregate, not an independent test or a representative survey, and it cannot establish how the earbuds will perform for a particular buyer.

Price, availability, and warranty vary by market
At the time of the cited page snapshots, Skullcandy’s UK listing showed £49.99 and out of stock, while its India listing showed a notify-me availability state and regional rupee pricing. Those are market- and time-specific listing states, not a global price or current availability guarantee. The support FAQ states a one-year limited warranty for manufacturer defects; check the terms that apply in your market.
Verdict: who should consider it?
Push Play Active is worth considering if you want workout-oriented earbuds with over-ear hangers, sweat-and-dust resistance, multipoint, awareness mode, and a long manufacturer-stated battery total. It is less suitable if app-based EQ or controls are important, or if your decision depends on verified comfort, secure fit, sound quality, call performance, or measured battery life. Those experiential qualities are not established by the available product specifications and manufacturer descriptions.
