Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThe Ward W Master Key is on a table in lower-floor Ward W Room 04 (W04). Its main use is to unlock W13; climb the ladder inside to reach upper Room 12, where you can collect Lesley Greer’s Blood Bag and use it at the D.P. door.
Where to find the Ward W Master Key
- Go to the lower floor’s Ward W area.
- Enter Room 04 (W04) and take the key from the table. The furnishing is described variously as a table, desk, or workbench in walkthroughs, so look over the surface in the room. Nerd’s Chalk’s guide and the SNBK Games walkthrough both place it in W04.
One walkthrough warns that a monster patrols Ward W and recommends moving between central structures and pillars for cover on the way to W04. Treat that as route advice rather than a guaranteed safe path. Nerd’s Chalk

How to use the key for the main route
- Use the key on the locked door to lower-floor Ward W Room 13 (W13).
- Inside W13, climb the ladder to upper Room 12.
- Take Lesley Greer’s Blood Bag from upper Room 12.
- Return to the central route and use the Blood Bag at the D.P. door to continue. The route is described in the Blood Bags and Ordell Puzzle Solution guide, which says its route was checked September 25, 2026.
Keep the floor and ward labels in mind: lower-floor W13 and upper Room 12 are distinct locations, and room numbers recur in different parts of the Medical Centre. Walkthrough accounts also describe this key-to-bag sequence. SNBK Games

The Master Key can also open other locked Ward W rooms. If you want the optional collectible, check Room 06 for Strange Postcard #8. The postcard location is listed in the Strange Postcards: All 15 Locations guide; this detour is separate from the W13 progression route.
