To release the clamp, open Valve F downstairs, collect the Clamp Release Procedure printout in the control room, set the clamp panel to the values below, and press the flashing green Release button. Finish by turning the red crank or valve downstairs.
Before using the clamp panel
- Complete the earlier Remote Systems/CCTV sequence in the SWDP – Different area.
- Go downstairs and unlock and manually open Valve F.
- Return to the control room and take the printed Clamp Release Procedure. The clamp panel is opposite the Remote Systems console.
Set the Clamp Release Procedure panel
Match every control to these states. The panel settings are corroborated by multiple independent walkthroughs, including AllThingsHow, Silent Townfall and TownfallWiki.

You can enter the settings in any order; what matters is that the final states match. One walkthrough says only to leave Run Off “as it is,” without naming a state. Other guides specify Disengaged, so use that setting if the panel does not accept the configuration.

Trigger the release and finish downstairs
- Check that the green Release button is flashing. That is the panel’s cue that the configuration is correct.
- Press Release.
- Leave the control room, return downstairs and turn the red crank or valve to complete the clamp release.
