If it is not in his trade inventory, try traders at the Water Treatment Facility or Chief’s Bunker. These are reported locations, not guaranteed stock: check each trader in your own game.
Where to buy the SIC
| Trader location | What to do | What is established |
|---|---|---|
| Rickman’s shop, Rostok | Travel to Rostok, speak with Rickman, open the trade window, and check his weapon stock. | Nerd’s Chalk identifies Rickman as the direct first stop in its Aug. 21, 2026 guide. Source |
| Water Treatment Facility | Check the trader’s inventory if Rickman does not have it. | KeenGamer reports the SIC at traders here; guaranteed stock is not established. Source |
| Chief’s Bunker | Check the trader’s inventory as another alternative. | Quest-Knight reports the SIC at a trader here; guaranteed stock is not established. Source |
How to check Rickman’s stock
- Set a destination for Rostok and travel there. Nerd’s Chalk describes Rostok as north of the Lesser Zone.
- Find Rickman’s shop and speak with him.
- Open the trade window and look for the SIC in his weapon inventory. Purchase it if it is available.
The guides do not establish a comparable price, a stock-refresh schedule, or that any trader always carries the rifle. If it is absent, check the other reported trader locations rather than assuming the weapon is unavailable.

If the SIC does not appear
- Confirm Update 2.0 is installed. The guides associate the standard SIC with that update.
- Search under the current name. Look for “SIC” or “Self-Loading Infantry Carbine.” Older Update 2.0 references used “SKP” for the same weapon, so that name may appear in older material.
- Check another reported trader. Try the Water Treatment Facility or Chief’s Bunker if Rickman’s stock is empty.
The standard SIC is one of the firearms associated with Update 2.0, and the cited guides say it does not require the Cost of Hope expansion. They distinguish it from expansion-specific unique weapons. A guide also mentions a hidden unique variant among the new weapons, but does not establish a guaranteed SIC world spawn, so treat buying from a trader as the practical route.
SIC ammunition and reported stats
Nerd’s Chalk describes the SIC as a semi-automatic designated marksman rifle using 7.62×54 ammunition. Its Aug. 21, 2026 stat card lists damage 2.9, handling 2.0, rate of fire 0.8, range 2.8, accuracy 3.0, weight 4.14 kg, and an inventory footprint of 6×2 slots. These are figures reproduced from that guide’s in-game stat card, not independently confirmed values; the guide does not identify a separate measurement standard for them. Nerd’s Chalk’s SIC guide
