The Australian-market Sealy Posturepedic Elevate Sienna is listed by CHOICE as a discontinued, in-store queen spring mattress with a claimed super-firm feel. CHOICE’s public product record gives its specifications and historical price figures, but its expert rating and detailed test results are restricted to members. That means the public evidence can describe the mattress, but cannot support a performance verdict on comfort, support or durability.
What the Sienna is—and whether it is still available
CHOICE identifies the Sealy Posturepedic Elevate Sienna as an Australian-market spring mattress sold through in-store retail, and marks the model as discontinued. That status does not prove that every retailer has sold its remaining stock; confirm that any listing is for the exact Sienna model, rather than a different mattress in Sealy’s Elevate range. What CHOICE’s testing does—and does not—establish publicly
CHOICE’s page includes categories for support when new, support over time, stability, sagging resistance, breathability, wear resistance, and warmth or coolness. However, the expert rating and detailed results are member-only. The public specification list does not reveal scores for those categories, so it cannot establish how well this mattress performs for any of them.
Accordingly, this public information is not enough to conclude that the Sienna is comfortable, supportive, durable, stable, breathable, or suitable for a particular sleeper. Nor does it establish an independent measured firmness result. No firsthand test of the mattress is represented here.

CHOICE’s recorded prices are not current offers
CHOICE’s record lists A$1,799 and a price paid of A$1,700 on sale or after bargaining. The record does not state a publication year, and these figures should be treated as historical page context—not as current pricing or evidence of present availability. Ask a retailer for a current, delivered quote and written terms before relying on a listing.
How to assess a listing or compare an alternative
If you find a Sienna for sale, or are considering another mattress, use the following checks to avoid treating unlike products or claims as equivalent:

- Confirm the model and market: Check that the product is specifically the Australian Sienna, not another Elevate mattress or a similarly named model.
- Verify availability and condition: Ask whether the mattress is new, how much stock remains, and whether the listing is for the exact size and model.
- Check fit: Compare the bed base with CHOICE’s listed queen dimensions of 204 × 154 × 29 cm, and confirm measurement details with the seller.
- Separate firmness claims from test results: The Sienna’s public listing says “super-firm”; compare that with another mattress’s label only as a stated claim unless comparable independent measurements are available.
- Compare construction only where details match: Spring type, springs per square metre, layer count, and thickness are useful comparison points when both products publish the same information.
- Get the practical terms in writing: Check the current price, delivery charges, trial or exchange conditions, warranty, and any disposal service directly with the retailer. The public Sienna record does not provide warranty terms or accessible test scores.
Do not assume that an Elevate model sold in another country is the same mattress. Sealy’s UK Elevate collection and India Elevate collection show models with different names, feels, builds, or specifications. Their descriptions should not be transferred to the Australian Sienna.
